“If you want some good chicken strips, this is your place! The only thing I really didn't like was the wait to receive my order, but in all honesty, most of their food is homemade. If I get the opportunity to come back, I would defiantly try their dessert. A family member of mine ordered a malt and said it was one the best she's ever had.“

You get mashed potatoes and green beans. The fried mushrooms are bomb with the horseradish dip. Cheeseburger is strong! The Willy onion rings are fabulous. They hardly had any sauce at all. They were so dry and overcooked he could only eat about three of them. Pretty disappointing.“
“Quite busy for a Thursday evening but we sat down and we're immediately waited on. Beer was cold and the prices are very reasonable. Had the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was huge. We are old people so we usually split our meals but this left us both leaving satisfied. The atmosphere is that of a hometown pub which made us feel at back home. “The salmon and green beans were excellent! But my baked potato wouldn't melt the butter and if you're going to add scallops to the menu make sure your staff knows how to prepare them properly otherwise they come out chewy and don't have a nice golden color. I've been here several times and I will definitely be going back! The staff has always been very attentive and very nice. The place seems to be popular with the local people it started filling up quickly this evening.“
“We went in during the week for a late lunch/early dinner. The ambiance is a bar and grill. They have a large wooden bar as the focal point in the restaurant, with TV's throughout. The service was excellent, our waitress was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for diet restrictions. They have daily lunch specials, and happy hour drink specials also. I had a Cobb salad, and hubby had a steak sandwich , both of which were very fresh. Portions are generous. Large appetizer and sandwich selections.“

“We stopped in for a late lunch. The roast beef was great. I had the regular roast beef. My husband had the French dip, and he loved it. I picked the sweet and tangy sauce to put on my sandwich, and it was delicious. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was very clean. I wish we had a Lion's Choice in Idaho!“

The burgers could definitely use some seasoning, very bland meat but all super fresh ingredients and fries nice and hot. I'd give a 4.5, if I could. If not for the bland meat, they'd get a 5.“
“Went here for dinner and breakfast during our stay, recommend the breakfast buffet, it is worth the price. However the dinner was very over priced, food was ok, but not at the value of what they charged. Fast food places have better quality dinner meals for much less.Staff was amazing however, and place was clean and comfortable, with that old rustic feel. “This location cares the most out of any in the st Louis area. Management who is engaged and they treat you like it's a sit down establishment. Food is almost always perfect, for the small time it hasn't been right they are always happy to correct it without question. They get to know the regulars by name and we always enjoy going here almost weekly.“
