The Hay Market Reviews
Ate here twice, twi days in a row. Dinner take out to my hotel room and dine in all you can eat breakfast the next day. I had the same server and she was an absolute sweetheart. Great Breakfast 👍 Great Service 👍
I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. It was so good we had it twice during our stay. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. We also had dinner there as well. Great portion sizes. Pretty good too, just a bit overpriced for dinner. However, one kid’s meal per adult was free so that helped. They were out of the steak that was on sale so we paid for the other steak meal. The Hay Market is a charming restaurant located within a hotel, situated inside a historic dairy barn that was converted many years ago. Guests praise the great breakfast and friendly service, with Melissa, the waitress on Thanksgiving Day, being particularly attentive and kind. The breakfast buffet is a highlight, offering a variety of options and accommodating special requests. Appetizers such as toasted ravioli and queso are popular, although the spinach dip receives mixed reviews. Dinner portions are considered overpriced, and prices are seen as steep, but the food is generally good and better than expected for a food service/hotel. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has a rustic, historic feel, making it a decent choice for breakfast or a casual meal. The architecture and history of the building add to its appeal, and many diners express a desire to return. Overall, The Hay Market offers reasonable prices, adequate servings, and a pleasant atmosphere despite a dated ambiance.
