Cheese baby, cheese!

I came here willingly for one reason, and only one reason: I saw someone's picture of a dish called Alhombre and had to try it. Think of it like this...they throw a handful of pieces of all of their meats (plus bacon) on a platter and then smother it is cheese sauce. Yep, kinda like a garbage pizza but made of Americanized Mexican food. The list included chicken, steak, fish, bacon and somehow a couple of shrimps even though they weren't listed on the menu as being part of the dish. There were some vegetables in there too but the dish could have used a bit more. Everything was cooked properly and very flavorful even without that luscious blanket of cheese laid over the top. Tortillas on the side along with the ubiquitous rice & beans.

We started with chips and salsa but the main event was the most memorable...until dessert arrived. The thing I love about flan is the drizzle of caramel sauce that usually accompanies the custard on the plate. There's never enough to allow a little bit with each bite. Not usually. Not ever - until this plate of flan arrives and it was absolutely swimming in caramel sauce (see picture). I was stuffed to the gills but actually contemplated ordering another one just to see if it would look the same. I held off but will certainly return if for no other reason than to have another flan.”

“In a city where restaurants tend to be mediocre and homogeneous this is a really neat exception. The historic building has a great vibe, the food was solid and the cocktails in the speakeasy were some of the best we have had in west county.”

“My favorite place for a burger in West County. Beer is cold and staff is friendly. Good healthy options if you’re into that kind of thing. Golf simulators, but remember to make a “tee time” which is easy to do via their website.”

“First time ordering, did so on their website. Picked up our order and when we got home one of the orders was wrong. Called Panda and after going through our orders the employee discovered a description from their website was wrong, the description was that of a different dish. They gladly made the correct dish and we picked it up. Very apologetic, which wasn’t necessary as it was on honest mistake. Even offer to refund us the price difference of the 2 dishes which we refused. Customer service was wonderful, friendly staff. We will be back.”

“I have never been to a subway shop I love more than this one. And trust me, I’ve been to at least 200 around the country! This place is clean, their veggies are fresh, the ownership and the staff are not only cool but they really know what they’re doing.

Owen is the best sandwich artist in the Midwest region
They were nice to my kid even though she was crying in line!

“First time having St Louis style pizza. The taste was good on the sweet heat and all meat pizzas. The square-shaped pieces are convenient for snacking on. However, the cuts could have been deeper. Most of the pieces were fused back together by the cheese.”

“Been going to Bread co for years!!! - but now the quality is just not what it used to be. For one have no idea why they stopped baking sour dough??? Plus half the bowl is empty when I order soup! And it wasn’t even piping hot like it’s supposed to be. And at this location there was only one person working who wasn’t even friendly- just blah! 😃 as it is it was a pretty dismal atmosphere- maybe one person there and the music was on or not can’t remember. They had just cleaned the floor and it was so wet I was scared to walk! I thought usually it’s dried when wet - but I guess not here.”

“We celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary by having a unique dessert. We had never been here before and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was kind and welcoming. The chimney cakes we ordered were delicious. Definitely a must for anyone wanting something different with an inviting atmosphere.”

“Food had good flavor, however my initial order was missing the sauce. If you are familiar with this food, you know sauce is a must. I initially got a “ I’m sorry” but after going back and forth and mentioning what I wanted, they remade my food and I had someone go back and get it with the sauce. The pita bread was thick and soft.”

“My wife and I celebrated our 3-year anniversary here, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. I called ahead and asked the staff if they could help me surprise my wife for our anniversary dinner. All I told them was, “I’m planning to bring my wife here for our first time to celebrate our 3-year anniversary. Please help me make it a memorable experience for her. She doesn’t know about this.” From that moment on, the staff went above and beyond for us. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. They spent time with me on the phone suggesting ideas and helping plan the entire evening. As soon as we walked through the front doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and escorted to our table. While my wife was admiring the beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the staff gave me the reassuring “we got you” signal, allowing me to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night with her. The evening turned out even better than I expected. Every moment left my wife amazed, and she had a smile on her face the entire night. Thank you to all of the amazing staff members for making our anniversary so special. We officially found our new favorite place for dinner dates. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. “Excellent food. If you order a meat dish serving are generous. My vegetarian platter however was small and didn't come with pita. I essentially had a plate of dips with one falafel, one small stuffed grape leaf and a few potatoes. While it was very good I left hungry.”

“As someone with food allergies (soy, nut, and seed), I REALLY appreciate that fit-flavors has an in-store menu showing which current menu options fit my dietary needs! They probably have it online too, and I just haven't needed to find it. Their menu options are ALL low in sodium because - let's be honest - there is too much of it in everything "prepared"! That isn't a concern with fit-flavors. I can salt everything to my own (and my family's when we buy in bulk!) tastes and know that I'm getting the same quality food that I would make at home myself. Fresh produce and high-quality meats; straight up delicious meals. Quote me on that.”
