“Recently, I made a wrong turn on Manchester and pulled into a strip mall to turn around, ending up in front of this restaurant by happy accident. 😊 My daughter and I both love Middle Eastern food, so we decided to give it a try. We were unaware they were still 20 minutes from opening, but the owner graciously insisted on us staying and proceeded to make us a pot of cardamom tea while we waited for the grills to heat. He was so pleasant and attentive, and the food was absolutely fantastic! One of the best dining experiences we've had in St. Louis in quite some time! Highly recommend!”

“I have gotten food here numerous times dining in, taking out, or getting it delivered many different times of the day on many occasions and it is astonishingly consistent and good no matter what. I always get either the queso birria or the Texas rice bowl. Despite the phenomenal amount of meat they put in the rice bowl, the rice is honestly the best part, especially mixed with the green and red salsa’s. Best rice I have had in my life.

A recent discovery I made was the cheesecake chimichanga, which is only like 7 bucks and bigger than I thought it’d be. Its cold in the inside and hot and crispy on the outside. Honestly, you could make an entire restaurant serving only those cheesecake chimichangas. It is by far the best fast food desserts, and one of the best restaurant desserts I have ever had. Heaven has Abelardos cheesecake chimichangas.

Lastly, on an unrelated side note, a lot of the people here leaving one star reviews need to learn how stars work. One star is when there is no redeemable qualities in an establishment. Genuine filth. If you say “Food was good, but service sucks” and leave a 1 star review, you’re either confused or a moron. Thats like 2 stars at worst.

There is a very good reason the vast majority of reviews of this place are 5 stars. Stop going to El Maguey, just go here.”

“Even in the middle of winter, Silky’s Frozen Custard in Ellisville is absolutely worth the stop. Their turtle sundae is one of the best around, with rich, creamy custard topped with warm caramel, hot fudge, and perfectly toasted pecans. It’s the kind of treat that makes you forget the cold as soon as you take a bite. The staff is always so friendly, and every visit feels welcoming and quick no matter how chilly it is outside. If you haven’t been to Silky’s in a while, or you’re debating going because it’s winter, go anyway. It’s worth it every time.”

“We ordered from Cecil's (Ellisville) last pm.... We were not disappointed! The pizza was very good! The only way to improve would be to go back to the old ovens & cornmeal under the crust while cooking. Cecil's Valley Park continues to disappoint... Many chances & they are horrible. Imo's Twin Oaks... also horrible... No question...Cecil's Ellisville is the go-to! Run the Buy one get one for $4 like St. Peters, Please.”

They had also taken the zucchini appetizer off the menu. Everything I went there to order is not completely off the menu. And there isn't a suitable substitute. I hope you'll consider bringing those back.”

“Went to sliders on Sunday and it was okay, my gf grew up in STL, I’m not from around here. Decided to go back one more time for her before heading home Thursday night and everything was actually so good. “Fallon's was great! They were polite and quick to respond. The waitress has never made my drink request before and knocked it out of the park! The food was piping hot and delicious. Large portions. My partner ordered an iced tea, which was also incredible. Not burnt tasting like other restaurants. Great experience! Will definitely be back.”

“This is genuinely such a cool and pretty affordable place. Before 6 and after 9 on weekdays, the beer wall is half off. Some of them are like less than 20 cents per oz. If it's busy, you have to seek out a server, but the food is great. Also, they have a rewards app that is pretty worthwhile. I also have the arcade membership. I think its like $11 a month for 40 games a day. And you can still get tickets. Most of the staff are really friendly. I've had very few bad experiences and have been here many times. My only complaint would be that they need cooler arcade prizes for adults. They used to have cooler stuff, but haven't in a while. Even just like a shot glass set, or a drinking board game, or chocolate candy instead of just sugar gummy candy. Parking is always easy and free though, which is nice. You can have a big group come. I do think they have spaces you can rent out for a party, but if you're fine hanging out in the open, it's a free place to host.”

“I stopped in today to pick up 6 bagels. While I was there waiting on my bagels, a young man walked in and the staff knew him, and greeted him. He abruptly ran out the door to catch the bus, and missed it. The staff was attentive, and sighed when he missed the bus. The young man came back in very upset, and your staff consoled him. He asked if he could get a ride to Maplewood, and I stated I could not, but I suggested an Uber. The young man stated that he only had $10, and no phone. Not familiar with Uber rides, I had asked your staff, and they explained that you have to order an Uber online, and use a credit card, or you can get an Uber gift card. I asked your staff where I could get one, and they said CVS or Walgreens. I stated that I would run over to CVS and get the gentleman an Uber gift card, but I would not be able to order the Uber since I was not familiar. One of your staff stated that she knew how, and she would order the Uber. I gave her the gift card, and your staff, and the man thanked me. Your staff was genuine, and explained to me that the man had been in a car accident with his wife, and he takes the bus to see her every day. She has significant injuries, that she will never recover from. I just wanted to express what a wonderful caring staff you have. Yes, I picked up the card, but they did all the work, and were genuinely concerned for the young man. Very nice ladies! I hope they are complimented.”
