“All of the Panda Express restaurants are exactly the same. I know this because I provided contract services to virtually all of them in the St. Louis area. They are clean and highly organized, even behind the counter and in the back.of the stores. Drive-though options. Good seating inside. Food is incredible! Some of the best and freshest American oriental food choices I have ever seen. I usually get either the Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, or The Honey Walnut Shrimp. My only complaint is a small one. Rice is counted as one of the side options and in my opinion it should not not be. There fried rice is very good, however.“

“NO vegetables in Shrimp St. Paul sandwich. Sweet & Sour Shrimp was 1 container of plain white rice, NO vegetables anywhere, the "shrimp" (2/3 plain fried breading & 1/3 shrimp) was NOT cooked in sweet & sour sauce, and packed separately. Quality is now abominable.“

“Me and my husband were so excited to go to P.F. Chang’s tonight, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It was not just the good food and drinks, it was the whole experience that makes this restaurant great. We had Rob as our server tonight, and he made us feel welcomed from the start. Rob was very genuine and knowledgeable about the drinks and food. Tonight we had the dumplings that came out steaming and delicious. As our entrees I enjoyed the garlic noodles and my husband had the teriyaki beef and fried rice. We finished off our meal by sharing that new butter cake, and we definitely recommend. I enjoyed a long pour of cabinet and my husband had the bud light. We felt that Rob was very good at his job, and we were glad to have him. We will definitely be back again!“

“I LOVE this location of Cate Zone. It is beautiful and much bigger than the U City location. They adjust the spice level and have fast service for both take out and sit down meals. Portions are large, especially the noodle soups. Several vegetarian options available.

“All Chinese restaurants in St. Louis are what I call fake Chinese food. However, I like to judge them by how they make their Singapore Mei fun which is what I always order. Well this one is delicious! Mei fun means rice noodles and Singapore Mei fun has all the meats including shrimp chicken beef and Chinese bbq pork in a slightly spicy yellow curry sauce. I give 5 star also for friendliness!“

“My go-to Chinese restaurant in St. Charles county! The stir fried dishes, especially the fried rice, have great wok hei flavor. The $8 all day special combos are delicious and a great deal. Annie, the owner, is very friendly, as are the other staff. I can see why this place has been open for 25 years!“

“Best Chinese food in St Louis. Hunan chicken is great. Lots of vegetables and white meat chicken (absolutely no ligaments or chewy parts). Have been there are 20 times over 5 years. The staff are fine. The complaints in other posts about the staff not giving you a big hug when they see you seems petty. I am going there first and foremost for great food at a reasonable price. People use to also complain about how the owner of La Bon Bouche was not friendly. I found him to be just fine and I didn’t care if he wasn’t the friendliest person as he had the best French pastries in St Louis. I feel the same way about China Wok. Their food is excellent and that is my main focus. Also, English is clearly not some people’s first language or culture, so I am willing to be more forgiving in those situations.“

“The sautéed broccoli is perfection. Tastes just the same as it did when I ate it in China. 🤤 My kids love the sesame chicken and chicken lo mein. It’s our go to everytime for delivery. The owner is also a very sweet woman.“

“I have been stopping at China in Bombay every time I pass through the St. Louis area for years, and it continues to be a reliable favorite.

This visit was no exception. The beef pho was outstanding. The broth was deeply flavorful, hearty, and comforting, and the portion size was enormous. Easily one of the highlights of the meal and something I would go out of my way to order again.

I also tried the cashew shrimp and the Szechuan chicken sticks. While I personally would have preferred the shrimp fried rather than stir fried, and the chicken sticks actually served on a stick, both dishes were still very tasty and well seasoned. The flavors were bold and satisfying, even if they were slightly different from what I expected.

The food quality here is consistently excellent, and the flavors feel authentic rather than watered down. A major plus for me is that the food is halal, which makes this a dependable stop every time I am in the area.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The space itself is small, but that is well known, and most people opt for takeout. Even so, dining in was still a pleasant experience.

China in Bombay remains a must stop for me whenever I am passing through St. Louis. Great food, generous portions, authentic flavors, and friendly service. Highly recommended.“

“I made a mistake by failing to order a half order instead of a full order and didn’t realize until I went to pay. I was on a very tight budget tonight and after the counter lady gave me the price is when I realized I failed to order a half order. She was kind enough to go ahead and charge me just the half order even though I received a full order. I feel like Customer service isn’t what it used to be in the food industry, but she was kind and hospitable.“

“First time ordering, did so on their website. Picked up our order and when we got home one of the orders was wrong. Called Panda and after going through our orders the employee discovered a description from their website was wrong, the description was that of a different dish. They gladly made the correct dish and we picked it up. Very apologetic, which wasn’t necessary as it was on honest mistake. Even offer to refund us the price difference of the 2 dishes which we refused. Customer service was wonderful, friendly staff. We will be back.“

“For what it is it’s pretty great. It’s a local family owned restaurant. They are always very nice. The prices are great, and the crab Rangoon are killer. I wouldn’t expect the best plate you have had, that’s tough in Stl. We have a great Chinese food scene here, but this place is a solid go to if you are in the area.

“This is my go to takeout place! Nothing turns a bad day around like Chinese food from China Garden! The employees are all fantastic and so kind. Their menu has every option you could ever want and I can get enough food to feed me the entire week for under $20 not to mention the freebies that occasionally find their way into my bag which always makes my day. I recommend this place to all of my friends and probably get take out 1 every 2 weeks or sometimes even once a week because I cannot get enough of their delicious food. They deserve way over 5 stars in my opinion.“

“Very upscale and beautiful interior restaurant. Clean and peaceful feeling. Crab rangoon are stuffed full and very flavorful
They use round lo mein noodles instead of the flat ones and their sauce is good but not as seasoned as others I've tried. May be good for someone who is sensitive to strong seasoning.
Service was polite and super quick. We would eat there again.“

“Wok Express has become my local go to. I usually go with the (Springfield) Fried Cashew Chicken and gravy or Sesame Chicken with fried rice.The crab Rangoon are old school where they are more savory than sweet. I do wish they had a St. Paul Sandwich. Give this place a try.“

It’s interesting how some reviews focus on things other than the food. For example, Debby Leonard gave it one star, mentioning the restrooms and the building, but she didn’t say a word about the food itself.

It makes you wonder—did she go for the food or the ambiance? If the food is what you’re after, that should be the focus of the review!“

“Not a 5 star restaurant, but the buffet was good with many options. There was fresh sushi and you could have food cooked by hibachi too. You coyld tell that many regular customers enjoyed coming. Price was very good. We'd definitely come back again!“

“Manchester Panda has upped their game with that young black man that runs the show! He’s there every time I go in there now. He is amazing and nice and worked so hard he bagged your food. He make sure it’s right he does the togos. He’s cashing people out. He’s a hard worker and very sweet and respectful. I don’t know his name but I hope he gets a raise to stay.“
