“Soooooo good. Not greasy like other places and it’s incredibly cheap. Portions are also huge.Edit after coming here for years:Generally the wait time is longer than quoted for carry out orders so we plan accordingly. However, our order time was quoted to be 35 minutes and we waited 90 minutes for our food. We don’t mind waiting, just wish the wait times were more accurate. For those curious, the “Springfield style cashew chicken” is nothing of the sort. It has a very doughy, soggy breading, unlike the breading on their orange chicken. The sauce is good though!Orange chicken and crab rangoon are always delicious!“
“I’ve been going here with my family for years and is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in the world. We are so lucky to have a delicious place like this in St. Charles. Offering an authentic and welcoming variety, Mandarin Garden has great specials for lunch and the most amazing Chinese food around. I’m a lifelong fan for Mandarin Garden!“
“They were closed for a few months....I think they went back to China.....anyway they reopened a week or two ago.1.the place is spotless2.the food is delicious and plentiful.3. The price is excellent.4. The service was fast and courteous.Go there...I would give them 6 stars if I could...they do everything right“
“This place is awesome. The customer service here is amazing. Great family run business The woman that takes the order is very sweet. Her husband and daughters I am assuming, cooks some delicious food. I been coming here for about 3 years picking up deliveries. Tonight was the first night I ever ordered from here. I ordered sweet and sour chicken dinner combination that came with fried rice and egg roll I ordered I bag of 6 crab rangoon . The chicken was cooked perfectly. Plenty of sweet and sour sauce for the chicken and enough to dip my rangoon’s & egg roll The egg roll was amazing. I would definitely be ordering other menu items in the near future.“
“The Orange Chicken was sooo orangey, and the pieces were small and flavorful so 10/10. The Fried Rice was dry but the Crab Rangoon's were SO yummy. The Pot Stickers were underwhelming. They seemed like they needed to be steamed just a little longer. The S&S Shrimp... omg 10/10! I absolutely loved it! Could have done without all the mini veggies in it, but delicious nonetheless. This was a "to go" order, so maybe that's why the rice had dried out a little? Would definitely order here again, just may be a little more picky on what I choose next time. The service at pickup, was quick. And the ambiance inside seemed peaceful.“
“Food has always been prepared to perfection. We do carry out or delivery, and food is always hot when we sit down to ear. Size of servings are good, containers are filled to capacity. It's one of our goto restaurants when we are hungry and not cooking ourselves. Our typical order in cashue chicken, wonton, and crab Rangoon. We get to satisfying meals“
“This was a take out purchase. The place was small and cozy and I liked that I could see them cooking but I also found that the direct communication between the family a little odd vibe wise. The food was good and plentiful I ended up with two meals because when they say large, they mean it.“
“美式中餐 - 鸡肉不错,有圣路易斯式炒饭I tried China Wok after seeing the last review. It definitely is great food for a little American Chinese restaurant. I ordered the hot braised chicken and asked for extra spicy, and they ACTUALLY made it kinda spicy. The fried rice is dark, like what you see in the city, not usually this side of the river, which was a very nice surprise.Great little spot.“
“We have been desperately looking for a place to replace Mandarin Garden since the are possibly closed (who knows, they never answer the phone....) Anyway, we live off Towers road and unbelievably, we had never tried this place! I have to admit I was very happy with the food. I especially enjoyed the pan fried dumplings (wonderful soy ginger dipping sauce) the eggrolls, the beef lo mein and the General Tso chicken. Also, the chicken-on-a-stick was amazing and goes really well with the pan fried dumpling sauce! However, the cashew chicken was my favorite... Loaded with plenty of crunchy carrots, celery and, or course, cashews this was my favorite by far. The dark sauce on the cashew chicken is also amazing! You get quite a bang for your buck at this place and the food is very good!“
“Our family is from the NW (Seattle) where there is an abundance of Japanese restaurants (Teriyaki restaurants). This was our first time eating at this place. The food was really well prepared and served at the right temperature. We ordered Beef and chicken Udon noodle soups, a chicken teriyaki and an order of California rolls. We enjoyed every bite of food we ordered. We will be coming back.“
