“We ordered takeout last night, for the first time since the new owners had their grand opening. We ordered several dishes for sharing, cashew chicken, chicken lo mein, beef pepper steak, chicken pad Thai, chicken fried rice, Rangoon, egg rolls, and hot/sour soup. Everything was delicious!“

“I don’t have any complaints about this place. The staff were friendly and seemed alright to me. They helped me and got me my food quickly. It is Panda Express so if you don’t like that it might not be great but it is in a food court so you got plenty of options. The portion was great, I got the one main dish and one side bowl. It was under ten bucks (I didn’t get a drink though). It was hot and tasted great. No complaints about this place!!“

“I was introduced to Cate Zone quinine during the pandemic (so take-away). It was my first time having the ‘hot crispy fish’ and I now dream about that fish. (To put that into perspective, i rarely choose fish, or have cravings for it.)
I have since invited friends for dining in pick-up orders. Yes, the inside is small and the prices have jumped. For me though, this restaurant is worth returning to. I prepare in advance if i need to wait. I am glad to see so many people ordering.
I don’t order often because of the rising prices, but it just makes it a treat now when i can go.“

“This was such a cute little family owned restaurant. While it looked like most people picked up for delivery, you can eat in and they give you paper plates. We ordered the popcorn chicken which had fried basil in it and it was so unexpected and delicious! My littles loved the stir fry noodles. Also unexpected was what they called Chicken Chili stir fry! The pork belly melted in our mouths!! Absolutely delicious. We will be back“

“NO vegetables in Shrimp St. Paul sandwich. Sweet & Sour Shrimp was 1 container of plain white rice, NO vegetables anywhere, the "shrimp" (2/3 plain fried breading & 1/3 shrimp) was NOT cooked in sweet & sour sauce, and packed separately. Quality is now abominable.“

“I love that it's casual, and food is so good, fast and hot. And it's not a crowded as the Olive location. Highly recommended. It is my favorite Chinese eatery!
You can't go wrong with anything that you order but I love their pork belly noodles, sizzling platter of eggplants or tofu, spicy crispy chicken or sweet and sour fish... but really, everything is great.
I normally get one familiar dish that I love, plus a new dish I've never had before. Two entrees and share with two people, you still have leftover for another meal. Just phenomenal place for lunch AND dinner.

“Hosts were attentive and frequently refilled our water cups. Everything was freshly made and hot despite it was a later dinner for us. Some food was bland (mushrooms) until combined the sauce from another dish. Buffet was reasonably priced at 12.95. We'll definitely be returning!“

“This review is for the bakery ONLY. Everytime we go to St. Louis, we stop here (We live at the Lake of the Ozarks). The mini custard pies are amazing, try the fried, sesame seed balls which are filled with two different kinds of bean custard, both are delicious.
The yeast buns are stuffed with a variety of sweets and cheeses and are killer. On the right side of the shop as you enter, there are usually a few versions of the Dim Sum they serve next door in the restaurant and they are all DELICIOUS!

I've purchased the Duck & the deep fried pork hanging in the window, several times & it's been legit. We buy half a duck because there's only 3 of us, but plenty. I always order a small order of their rice so we can eat our duck at the hotel.
It can be VERY crowded on the weekends, so come as soon as they open. There's usually only the one lady working the register and dude chopping up the duck & pork, but they're fast. A++++ It's not cheap but it's soooo worth it.“

“I frequently dine out at places like Pei Wei but Pei Wei has become my new favorite. That is due in no small part to Jacinta, one of the employees. They were having a bit of a mid afternoon rush and she was acting as the cashier, server, bus person and just about everything else associated with front of house in a restaurant. She really hustled and took care of everyone efficiently and with a smile. Honestly if I wasn’t retired and was still in business I would try to steal her away. “I have been stopping at China in Bombay every time I pass through the St. Louis area for years, and it continues to be a reliable favorite.

This visit was no exception. The beef pho was outstanding. The broth was deeply flavorful, hearty, and comforting, and the portion size was enormous. Easily one of the highlights of the meal and something I would go out of my way to order again.

I also tried the cashew shrimp and the Szechuan chicken sticks. While I personally would have preferred the shrimp fried rather than stir fried, and the chicken sticks actually served on a stick, both dishes were still very tasty and well seasoned. The flavors were bold and satisfying, even if they were slightly different from what I expected.

The food quality here is consistently excellent, and the flavors feel authentic rather than watered down. A major plus for me is that the food is halal, which makes this a dependable stop every time I am in the area.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The space itself is small, but that is well known, and most people opt for takeout. Even so, dining in was still a pleasant experience.

China in Bombay remains a must stop for me whenever I am passing through St. Louis. Great food, generous portions, authentic flavors, and friendly service. Highly recommended.“

“For what it is it’s pretty great. It’s a local family owned restaurant. They are always very nice. The prices are great, and the crab Rangoon are killer. I wouldn’t expect the best plate you have had, that’s tough in Stl. We have a great Chinese food scene here, but this place is a solid go to if you are in the area.

“Solid chop suey spot in the county. They are still serving up what I’m starting to think of as soul Chinese food. The box of rice we grew up on. It’s hot, reasonably priced, salty, and good. I hate how dirty the outside is and I wish they gave us a better experience but as long as the rice is good and the shrimp are clean, I’ll be back.“

Or food arrived on time and was nice and hot, proteins are decent sizes and cooked perfectly, they followed the requests made on out order, were very generous with sauce and utensils. The food was DELICIOUS! Crab Rangoons aren’t too sweet and have lots of crab, lol main was delicious as well as the fried rice. The general Taos, sesame, sweat and sour and orange chicken dishes were all a hit with it family and kids. Will absolutely order again!“

“I live in Atlanta now & the Chinese food pales in comparison to my hometown of St Louis. That said, when I come home I have to have some immediately. This time I happened to get in on Sunday. I was lucky to find one open. I called it in and was there in less than 15 minutes. The wings were great & piping hot! The vegetable egg foo young and shrimp fried rice had me moaning with pleasure. Whenever I come back home this St Louis Kitchen will be my first stop. The staff was friendly even though it was closing time for them.“
