“Had resv for 4:00 on a Sat, got there at 3:25 asked to sit at table to get drinks, told we could, then someone else said no since r resv wasn’t until 4:00. Said we could sit at bar but all tables in bar were taken! Freezing cold inside, put 7 of us at a table that would hold 10-12 people had to scoot down to other end to try and get warm. Food finally arrived way later than those around us! No one in the rest. hardly but we couldn’t sit at a table till 4:00. Not very friendly about it! Food not impressed with! Will not go back, done!“

“The current owners, Colleen and Bill are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. We had a baby shower there and they were very accommodating. The food, service and atmosphere were great. Can’t say enough!“

“We normally go to another place for happy hour but the last time we went, we had terrible service so I days NO MORE - & that led us to Big A's. It was perfect! “Had our retiree group out last Thursday, March 12th. We get together every month or so and I try to find different places to go. Some places want to charge us for space for us to patronize their establishment, absolutely refuse that option. Anyway I called Bret up a month in advance and let him know we'd be coming. I never know how many people will attend, usually 30-40 of us show up. Bret said no problem, they'd love to have us. I confirmed a week in advance and we were set. Well Thursday came around and I could tell by the group that had already shown up that it was gonna be a bigger group than what I told them. I went in and told that to Bret, no problem he said. We ended up with 55-60 of us old farts and we had Ashley as our server.
What a great time we had, the drinks were coming, the food was hot and delicious with tons of choicesavailable. What a great experience we all had, which was conveyed to me in text messages after we left.

“One of our favorite restaurants. I always get served more food than I can eat. Reasonably priced with a large choice of food. They have a good Reuben sandwich piled with a lot of meat. Good appetizers, I get the quesadilla or potato skins. Restaurant has a hometown feel. Always clean. Friendly staff.“

“Nice little joint off the strip in St Charles. We stopped on for a quick bite and received excellent service! The drinks were so good and the food was great quality. We were thinking it would level with bar food but it definitely exceeded our expectations. If you have not been do not sleep on this spot“

“I went to watch the Cardinals game and really enjoyed the energy the staff had. My bartender Destiny was amazing and very fast. It caught my my attention that the manager Chris really interacted with the customers and got them involved in a bag tournament. My pizza was cooked to perfection it is worth the visit.“

“I love me some Stake n Shake. Been going since I was a kid. I don't go as much anymore. I just happened to be near this location and decided to stop in. I ordered my food thru the kiosk. I'm getting use to these now. Surprisingly, my fod came out quickly. I checked my bag to see if everything was there. I've learned my lesson over the years. Yay, everything was in the bag. I got the tots and I had to have one right away. OH NO, they were cold. There was a lady in site, but it looked like she was on brake. I hated to bother her. But I did. I asked if I could get a fresh order of tots. She didn't say anything and took the clod ones I had. I thought this was going to take awhile. NOPE, it was just a few minutes and she brought out a fresh, hot batch of tots. No attitude what so ever. Stake n Shake has been known to have bad customer service. I usually put up with it because I like the food. Not on this day. From the time I walked in until the time I walked out I was super pleased. It all took about 10 minutes. Pretty good with them make me a new order of tots. I'll be back.“
