I can't really speak on the ambience of the restaurant because we order food to go and my husband picked it up. However, I will start with the amazing brisket quesadilla. It was hot, fresh and delicious. The smoked wings were good as well. The chicken and a biscuit sandwich, was not good, chicken was old and had no flavor! The gravy was literally bland. It was disappointing. I want to come back and try a dine in experience!
I recently joined a friend at a "sober karioke" night hosted in the fun, sultry jazz bar located on the ground floor of this restaurant, and I was completey bowled over! Honestly I went in with lower expectations, not being much of a fan of karioke or sobriety, but in the end that just meant that I was that much more impressed! This is a small bar/live music venue. Nice layout so you can get up close and personal with the band.Currently they just do private invite events but they said they plan to get more into regular live shows. I was there for a "Black Moods acoustic show and thoroughly enjoyed it.I will go back!
