“I had the rigatoni arribiatta which was delicious. My group and I had a really nice time in general, but towards the time that we left it was VERY loud in the restaurant, this was around 7:00pm. It became so loud that I left with a sore throat (not joking) from having to project my voice just to be heard by the person across the table. I did really enjoy my food though.“
“Very good calzones! I got steak and mushrooms, someone else at our table got the BBQ chicken with roasted corn in it.All the calzones come with sauce "on the side," as the name suggests. Mine had French onion dip, which would have been better if not cold, in my opinion. They also have cheese sauce, a really good garlic butter, a white BBQ sauce...The server asked if we wanted any changes (different sauces, etc) Drinks came in glasses made to look like cans, very cute!Lunch for 4 was under 50 bucks, and two of us got bottomless drinks and a drink to go. Great value, cute place and wonderful food!“
“Found this place on Google and it seemed like it’d be good. I think maybe we showed up on a karaoke night. It’s not just a restaurant but also a little store and deli. I really enjoyed the vibe. My food was good. My favorite thing was my cannoli and I’m a little upset with myself for not getting the larger one.“
“Always go for lunch with a friend. No alcohol license but you can bring your own bottle of wine which we do, small fee for service. Lunch menu wide, always opt for upside on salad, theirs the best. Small place but decor fine, server very nice. Can't be bear.Dietary restrictions: Willing to work on changes such as grill vs fried, omit ingredients. Very accommodating.Parking: Small strip mall but at lunch plenty of parking.“
“We had an amazing dinner tonight at YaYa’s! The sea scallops were exquisite and are the best we’ve had in St. Louis. The salmon salad and gnocchi were delectable, as were the cocktails. The icing on the cake was being served by the one and only, Andy Samberg!! I can’t believe he works here! The service was amazing as was his comedic nature! Everything about this place was top notch.!! We absolutely will be back! BEST.NIGHT. EVER!! ☺️“
“The food was excellent! Our party of two ordered one entree from the menu and requested a non-menu entree that was prepared perfectly. The app offerings are well thought-out and range from 'standard' through 'gourmet'. Everything was prepared as requested and served on a timely basis. The dessert selection is rather limited, but the aperitifs will replace any dessert shortcomings very well. And if you are like me and enjoy coffee after dinner, they offer espresso and cappuccino. Entree prices are mostly in the $20 -$30 range as are most comparable restaurants in their geography. The service is top-shelf; our server was Shawn. He was friendly, accommodating, very knowledgeable of menu items, professional and willing to assist should diners want assistance. Shawn is an absolute "Pro"! The ambience is clean, open (tables not jammed against each other) and functional. It's great to not be forced to listen to another table's conversation. If I could offer one suggestion it would be to 'lower the brightness' in the dining room, it has a negative effect on the entire experience. We will become regular customers of Gianfabio's.“
“Service was horrible, took us to our seat, waited 15 min then other people were seated around us, waited 10 more min. All the time they were taking g orders from people that came after us, had wave down a server. Then waited another 10 min just to order, never came fill up drinks or ask if we needed bread sticks or anything. Food was good Service was a joke“
“It's a family favorite, but like many restaurants, the value has slipped. We did take out - an entree caesar and an extra large mizithra for $40. Outstanding mizithra and the pesto dressing is incredible. But outside of those two ingredients, we basically got plain spaghetti with browned butter and romaine lettuce. No protein -- just noodles and lettuce. Yes, two small cups of spumoni (3-4 spoonfuls) were included as well as a small loaf of Italian bread. I'd mention the side salad, but it was a handful of lettuce in half a pint container. I expected larger servings, especially as we spent the extra $5 for the larger order.“
“Terrible service from EJ. He never checked to see how our food was, not once, after salad or entree. The food was okay. Parmesan would have helped maybe. We had to ask for more water. We had a gift card from our kids to use, but EJ said the internet was down and we couldn't use it. We asked for a manager, and he said he was the manager, which is really surprising considering the lack of service we received. He finally took the gift card off of our bill. He was not a good server or manager in our opinion. Bus boy was pretty good. We would not recommend this place. EJ shouldn't be serving!! We still gave him a 15% tip, which was more than deserved. Usually, we give much more.“
“Went there on a slow Wednesday night. The brushetta is just flavorless soggy crackers with pounds of flavorless canned cold tomatoes on top.... with a sad amount of parm cheese and fresh basil on top.... no balsamic glaze... not much flavor .Field salads was great. Fresh ingredients.Bread is good. Had 3 rounds of it, 1/3 was cold harder bread that seemed to be old.Fettucine alfredo didnt have much any flavor. Needed salt, olive oil , pepper , and parm to make it have any sort of flavor.“
“I have gone here my whole life and still love going here. This last time I went the fettuccine was not that great. It had way too much butter and seemed like I could pick the whole bowl up on my fork. The chicken was dried out, either overcooked or had been sitting out awhile. I would still eat here and recommend this place to everyone. Can't wait to see the house dressing sold in stores one day.“
“I can’t say enough about this place. Artichoke appetizers was amazing. The main entrees didn’t disappoint. Portion sizes were just right. Tiramisu and cannoli were fantastic. Service was excellent. Many thanks to Lia for a fantastic dinner!“
