My husband usually only eats the top, but their crust was so thin and crispy he loved it. The young many who delivered the pizza was extremely polite and helpful.“

“Tony and family always make you feel like family. From his table side presence and his beautiful mother leading an amazing team in the kitchen. Anthony our server was great and knowledgeable of all the dishes. We started with the calamari and fried spinach and a perfectly spiced marinara sauce. We each had the separate salads I had the Italian chop salad, and my girl had the Caprese salad both were absolutely amazing. I had the Benedetto's Farfalle with spicy pink sauce and added shrimp 🤌we also had the perfectly cooked and breaded Chicken Spiedini served over risotto. I ordered a gluten free calzone on DoorDash and added steak to it. They called me and said hey just letting you know the steak marinade has soy and we wanted to make sure that’s okay. I told them it was not and I asked if they had another protein, they did and I added that and all is well“

The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. “When I walked in, I realized the place was packed, but we were hoping the wait wasn't too long, they quoted 45 minutes, which was a little too long for us. There was 5 of us and we decided to sit at the bar. And I'm sure glad we did. We had a bartender, I forgot her name, but she had purple hair, she was the absolute best. Not only did she make amazing drinks, she made sure our food came out right and hot. She also entertained us the whole time we were there, by engaging in conversations. You don't see that very much these days. If there was a word better than perfect, that's how I would describe it. I'll definitely be sitting at the bar more often.“

“We were having trouble ordering through the website so we tried to call the Imo’s closest to our branch and were on hold forever. When calling this location, someone answered right away and was VERY pleasant and helpful. We were technically outside their delivery area but they made an exception for us and delivered to us anyway. The woman who took our very large order was so friendly & patient. Our delivery driver was also very friendly & helpful. Our food was hot and fresh and packaged well. We were very satisfied with our experience & would highly recommend!“

“I had trouble ordering a gluten pizza on line. When I went in to order one, they were very helpful with the app. The gluten free crust is really good! Thingng is you can only order a small. Still delicious! The one drawback for me was it was a little salty. I don't normally eat alot of salt.“

“Stopped in at lunch time and picked up lunch specials and deals for my whole office. They were busy midday on a Friday on this cold January day so I thought, 'I'll park my van behind the building and avoid the busyness up front'. My dumb self got my van stuck in the snow for the first time ever. A staff member named Adrian used his entire 10 mins smoke break (or lunch) to help dig me out. They didn't have a shovel so he literally used a pizza pan with a wood handle to shovel the snow and breakup the ice before laying pizza boxes down for my tires to get traction. Everyone in St. Louis knows about and loves Imo's pizza, but what they may not know is that their staff is truly second to none. I'll definitely be back to support these wonderful folks that care about their customers.“
