“Fantastic dinner at Paul Manno’s, possibly one of the best Italian restaurants in St. Louis. I felt like i had been transported straight to Italy for dinner. Ambiance 10/10. Definitely make a reservation, they fill up fast!

We got the lasagna and rack of lamb. Lasagna was fantastic, as expected. I was slightly hesitant in ordering the lamb, just because I had never had it. It did not disappoint! Melted in my mouth and the hints of lemon were delicious.

For dessert, tiramisu of course. Very good and light tiramisu , not too chocolately or overpowering. Perfect tiramisu texture.

“Last Sunday, Oct. 13, my wife and I stopped in at Massa's in St. Charles.. We did not have a good experience and I left an unfavorable review. Management reached out with a reply, apologizing and then asked to give them a 2nd chance. Normally I don't return to to places that left a bad impression. However after receiving the management's reply we decided to try it again today Oct 20. We were seated and placed our order to our waiter Owen. We spoke nothing about our previous experience to anyone until after our meal was served and eaten. We then explained to Owen that we were invited to return by management. He summoned manager Maggie and we spoke to her of our previous experience. She was informed that the first review would be deleted and a second one will be written. The service was excellent as well as the food. The atmosphere was great as well. Let me suggest MASSA'S in St. Charles. I would suspect their business will only grow so, if you want to beat the crowds then go there soon. Thank you staff at MASSA'S.“

“I am a loyal customer at all the Lombardo family restaurants, but this location is the best for when you are traveling. I usually call ahead to place an order before or after flying out of the airport and take it to-go because the restaurant is conveniently located across the street from Lambert airport. They have a spacious parking lot and the interior is very nice and upscale (yet not “stuffy”). The food is always cooked to perfection and made fresh with the highest quality ingredients, whether it is a pasta dish, steak, or seafood entree. They are well-known for their homemade toasted ravioli and rightfully so - it is the best in St. Louis! Their caesar salad is to die for and they make their own in-house salad dressings. Oh, and their portions are very generous! Pro tip: call ahead and place a to-go order if you are flying in/out of Lambert but are short on time!“

I asked for a refund and was told that they are not able to do this as the AU JUS is complimentary. WTF is that !!! “Last night we hosted my friend’s 70th BD party at the ‘Old’ Place Massa’s in Bridgeton with 12 of his family and best childhood friends. It was SO special as they all grew up near and had great memories here. Well, it was the most delightful evening ever! Mike (manager), MaryAnn (I hope I have the right name) and ALL the wait staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful … we felt like they became family too! AND THE FOOD! Never disappoints! We all ordered a variety but my pizza rocked. The drinks and appetizers didn’t disappoint-LOVE the spinach dip. Someone got their steak specialty dish and we all were jealous… it melted in your mouth. From beginning to end, it was the perfect night! And the staff and food made it GREAT! “We came here for lunch with a big group. As soon as we walked in with a table for 8, another group of 6 immediately came in and behind them was a group of 9 or 10. With it being lunch time, they had a small staff. The host and the waitress welcomed everyone in with smiling faces and pushed tables around to make room for all parties. “My friend and I had an enjoyable dining experience at Charlie Gitto's. I ordered the wedge salad with blue cheese dressing. The lettuce is cold and crisp with chopped tomatoes and bacon. My entree was the lasagna, best in town in my opinion. Red and white sauces over a full serving of a combination of meat & cheese. All served with fresh baked Italian bread. The servers are friendly and attentive.“

“Pasta House catered our wedding, and they did an amazing job!!! They made the whole day a breeze! The food was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers!!! My husband and I wanted ice cream for dessert. They placed the order with Ted Drewes, picked it up, and brought it to the venue. They even let my baker bring the cake to them the day of, and they handled it from there. The bar was awesome!! The drinks were delicious and ll the staff from serves to bartenders were so friendly! Our wedding was at the World's Fair Pavillion which has some stricted guidelines/rules which we were worried about. Pasta House took care of all of it and didn't let us worry once about it. They were a dream to work with and I would recommend them to everyone for a delicious and stress free wedding or event!!!“

“When I walked in, I realized the place was packed, but we were hoping the wait wasn't too long, they quoted 45 minutes, which was a little too long for us. There was 5 of us and we decided to sit at the bar. And I'm sure glad we did. We had a bartender, I forgot her name, but she had purple hair, she was the absolute best. Not only did she make amazing drinks, she made sure our food came out right and hot. She also entertained us the whole time we were there, by engaging in conversations. “Celebrated our grandson's 11th birthday at Bugatti's. Sarah (I believe I'm correct) was our main waitress. When she found out it was a child's birthday she came with balloons to put on the table to make it festive. She gave us (a party of 9) a great table kind of off by itself. The food was served hot and was very good. They had special child sized steaks with fries. The wait staff was very patient and attentive and made us feel welcome even though with three 11 year olds it got a little boisterous at times. We enjoyed our food and birthday gathering. “Terrible service from EJ. He never checked to see how our food was, not once, after salad or entree. The food was okay. Parmesan would have helped maybe. We had to ask for more water. We had a gift card from our kids to use, but EJ said the internet was down and we couldn't use it. We asked for a manager, and he said he was the manager, which is really surprising considering the lack of service we received. He finally took the gift card off of our bill. He was not a good server or manager in our opinion. Bus boy was pretty good. We would not recommend this place. EJ shouldn't be serving!! We still gave him a 15% tip, which was more than deserved. We have been patronizing Olive Garden for over 30 years, and have always enjoyed the experience.

Unfortunately, on our last visit, one customer actually brought a medium sized dog (not a service dog) into the table area of the restaurant near other patrons, placed it in her lap, and proceeded to stroke it, sending hair airborne in the eating area of others.

I inquired to the Management as to whether this was allowed, and I was told that they "cannot tell a customer that they are not allowed to bring ANIMALS into the restaurant."

I asked about the sanitation, allergies, etc. concerns of other customers, and I got no reply.

We will ask about this policy when we are invited to eat at Olive Garden, and if this policy is in all of their restaurants, we will NOT be patronizing the Olive Garden franchise any longer.
