“I’m little late on this review but I remember the experience! I went here for my anniversary on 9/18/26. My wife and I had warm welcome from the staff told us happy anniversary. My daughter did not like the white pasta. My daughter was not going say anything because she didn’t want cause disturbance. The waitress came over asked if she wanted to try the red pasta! The dinner was amazing and the service. Last thing I want thank the gentleman who discreetly paid for my dinner!!“

“I have frequently dined, had delivered, and carried out fron this location. It has had its ups and downs, but I noticed a significant change in September 2021. I believe they took on complete new management. I have been fortunate enough to be dealing with Matt for at least a year now and I always thought he should have been the one that should be running this location. I have been a customer here for 10 years and it's always been a mess. Matt did something different. I believe they brought Dan in as the GM and made Matt the AM. Things changed for the better. Apparently Dan left and Matt stepped into the GM position. Im not sure what happened, but Matt was the best thing that happened to this place. Its my understanding that upper management drove him out do to psychological abuse. I will say as a diehard customer Matt did leave a solid legacy. I always enjoyed Fernando. There were days it was Matt and Fernado, and those guys were on point. Im very pleased to see Fernando in a management position. I would hope that he would be considered for the GM position in the near future. Over the years I have unfortunately noticed the turn of management in this establishment, and there seems to be a common denominator. I have never been able to get a answer from any of the management over the years but from what I can collect it seems to me that they are micro managed and not given the tools to succeed. That is why I will no longer patronize this location or any other Imos that is part of this franchise. It's to bad. I don't know who to contact, but if you are reading this, you either own the place, or are the DM or RM. It really doesn't matter. I have a 17 year old daughter that really wanted to get a job with you and I won't let her. I would have left her in Matt's hands, no worries. Matt was there everyday, everytime. Then he is gone? Through the grapevine I hear there is a District manager that appears to be a bit of a cancer in this franchise. Can anyone fill me in on any information on this matter? Does anyone know where Matt is? If anyone is in contact with him please tell him thank you for years of fantastic service. I hope you have found happiness God bless. John B“

“Super impressed with the food quality and portions! We left with leftovers and were absolutely stuffed. The roast chicken is worth all the hype it receives, but the prosciutto di parma and grilled octopus appetizers honestly stole the show for us. Tons of great wine and cocktail or mocktail options as well. The service was efficient, friendly, and on point. The atmosphere is energetic and definitely on the louder side, so keep that in mind if that’s not your vibe. Easily one of my husband and I’s top five restaurants in the STL area. Worth every effort to snag a reservation!“

“Great food and service. Waiter made some excellent suggestions, including said we could split a salad - which was plenty. If you’re old, it was a touch dark, but part of the ambiance. Will go again. For app, main, wine glass, dessert will be ~$100 per person. It was great. It does fill, so make a reservation.“

“We had a party of 6 on Saturday night. Great service. Outstanding food had by everyone. A few in the party ordered the Lasagna after they were out of Ossobuco. They loved the Lasagna, the Chicken Risotto was one of the best I ever had, although I modified it by adding mushrooms. We did start out with appetizers and the Roasted Wild Mushroom app and Toasted Ravoli were incredible. Highly recommend this place.“

“My favorite Italian place in StL. Don't sleep on the fried escarole, it's amazing. Had a large business group and the server made a small plate of three appetizers for each diner. All were excellent! Had the 40 day dry aged Ribeye...chefs kiss. It was a special so when I go back I'll get the Filet Mudiga. Desserts are all amazing.“

Not only was every piece we received so delicious from the bread to the actual dishes, but the service was 10/10 and we had so much support from the staff to make our experience memorable. The workers would even apologize when reaching over you to fill your water, like hello I should be the one apologizing for being in the way! Every single bite was heavenly and the portions are big so I was able to enjoy leftovers later too. It’s definitely on the pricier side because it’s a fancy restaurant but nothing that I believe isn’t worth it. I will 100% come back when I can! It’s also connected to a hotel so if you are ever visiting Saint Louis and want to experience the Italian relevance of the Hill, this is totally a great option.“

“We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Riley, who was hands down one of the best servers and bartenders we’ve had in a long time! She knew the menu inside and out, was incredibly attentive without being intrusive, genuinely engaged in conversation, and was simply a delight.

Michael also stopped by to say hello, and throughout the evening, I noticed him warmly welcoming guests at the hostess stand. What really stood out to me was overhearing the hostess greet someone walking in by saying, “It’s your birthday today, correct? Happy Birthday! I hope you have a wonderful evening!”

It’s those little things that make such a big difference. That level of genuine hospitality, personal attention, and exceptional service is something you just don’t experience very often anymore.

You can tell there’s a culture here that truly values its guests, and it shows from the moment you walk in. They’ve clearly figured out that great hospitality is about more than just good food and drinks.

“The Crossing Restaurant did a remarkable job the other evening when we dined there. We had impeccable service and outstanding food. I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. “We recently moved “locally” and Our trying out new restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised with “A’mis” Took Our four kids there for lunch today. The ENTIRE dining area was full, yet the short staffed staff did not miss a beat. Drinks filled, food brought out, they did forget silverware but They were SO busy and also so on top of it! Truly impressed as a former server and hostess back in the day. My kids finished the cheese sticks in less than 5 minutes. The fettuccini was amazing, and so was the New York style pizza. The house dressing is good as well. On top of that the wait staff was so friendly and kind to Us. You sometimes sadly get dirty looks bringing 4 kids under 13 into a restaurants alone, even if they are well behaved! We will be back!!! Thank-You!“

We ordered three gluten‑free calzones- the Roasty Toasty, the Magic Carpet Ride, and the Meat Me in St. Louie, and every one of them was outstanding. The gluten‑free bread was chewy, flavorful, and genuinely delicious, which is rare to find with gluten‑free options, especially anything in the pizza family.

Each calzone had its own personality, packed with rich, well‑balanced flavors and plenty of filling. It made for a satisfying meal all around, and it’s clear they put real care into their gluten‑free offerings.

A great spot for creative calzones and truly impressive gluten‑free dough. I’d absolutely go back.“
