“The restaurant is loud, which I suppose is more of a symptom of being in a casino. The service (and our server in particular) was phenomenal. The food was very good and the pomegranate sangrias were on point. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant!“
“Not all imos are the same. And wow does this Imos's take the topping for best we've been to! The delivery is impeccable. Service drivers are top notch! The pizza itself delivers incredible toppings, scrumptious cheese, and a phenomenal crust. We highly recommend this location!“
“Amazing! As always. I brought my best friends & my daughter, their first time. And they were blown away with the food, staff, and whole experience. As for me, I’m in amazement with your consistency. I’ve been many times… Always amazing!“
“"From the moment I stepped into The Crossing in Clayton, I knew I was in for a remarkable dining experience. The exceptional service began with Sunny, who skillfully handled my reservation, and continued with David's warm welcome at the door. My server, Joshua, was simply outstanding, ensuring that my visit was nothing short of perfect. What truly set this experience apart was the meticulous attention to dietary restrictions for both me and my guests. It's rare to find a restaurant that genuinely cares and accommodates with such grace. The meal was unforgettable, leaving me talking about it for weeks. But the cherry on top was a chance encounter with Joseph on the sidewalk days later. His genuine follow-up about my experience showcased a level of care and knowledge that is unparalleled in the industry. The Crossing in Clayton is not just a restaurant; it's an experience where the staff goes above and beyond, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking culinary excellence and exceptional service."“
“So good we went two nights in a row, ordering different food each time. Four veteran travelers used to great food all agreed Acero's is on a very short list of best restaurants; not just in St. Louis, but anywhere! Just amazing food, staff and ambience. The high ratings from thousands are real, earned and deserved! Enjoy!“
“This is the kind of restaurant that you save your 5-star reviews for. The food is insanely incredible, the staff are sweet angels, and you're treated like royalty once you step in the door. The environment is charming and welcoming while not overwhelming, with dimmed lighting and beautiful artwork. I left my phone at home when I went last night but I would have taken a picture of every dish and drink if I'd brought it. The broccolini (and the vinaigrette!) is a must-have, as well as their various breads and the prosciutto. Everyone's meal was a favorite, and the Rosa y rosie drink was divine. We greatly enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!“
“James, our server, made it a fun evening. The food as always, was perfect. We had the caprese with lobster salad to start. Light and tasty. Then we had the 12oz Australian Wagyu, cooked to perfection and just about as good as Japanese Wagyu for a lot less. Served sliced and placed in the middle. We love Wagyu and this is a special dish. We were thrilled they had it tonight. We also had the pasta special, spinach tagliatelle with shrimp and scallops and a cheesy delicious sauce with bacon, almost like a carbonara. Not ultra creamy but super good. Big shrimp and scallops. Finally we had the Truffle Mac and Cheese which is addicting and awesome. We brought some home for our grand daughter. Napoli 2 is a great restaurant.“
“This restaurant has outstanding Italian cuisine. The food is delicious and its presentation is pretty as well. We went there on a Saturday evening with friends and had to wait around 45 minutes. I don't know if they take reservations in advance. It is well worth the wait though.“
“I would put myself in debt to eat this food, It's so incredible the head chef is brilliant, and the staff from the front of the house to the back make the entire experience a joy. the wild boar and polenta is writing home about worthy, and the tirimisu makes me emotional... the pizza is literally the only pizza in st louis worth eating and I'm from Chicago so I feel like my opinion is extra valid lol. there are a ton of "fancy restaurants" in St. Louis but table cloths and wine selection don't mean crap when the menu of a reasonably priced pizza joint makes your food look like McDonald's by comparison.“
“Authenticity at its finest.Incredibly friendly staff with a glaringly obvious expert skill set. Everything here is superb. The dough is light and airy with a crispy underbelly. Textbook mozzarella ratio but the star of the show is their homemade sauce. They should make an extra batch every week just to jar and sell. We would stock up on every visit. The sauce is the soul of the pizza pie. This one is simultaneously deep AND vibrant - a gastronomic spectacle to behold. Also, if I’m not mistaken, they make their own bread for their garlic cheese bread which is equally divine. Can’t ask much more of a pizzeria while remaining on this plane of existence.“
“My husband and I had visited family at SLU hospital and were in the mood for Italian food. Found this restaurant on Google and am so happy we did! Wonderful food, great service and a great atmosphere. This will certainly be our to go to restaurant from now on!“
“The staff at Failoni's were amazing we came in with a large group of 25 and not only were they able to accommodate us but they also provided expert service. On a busy day at the restaraunt they got all of our orders out together and very quickly... the restaurant had a great Midwest vibe with friendly people and would highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Italian food.Parking: Plenty of parking along the street on both sides“
“I had the rigatoni arribiatta which was delicious. My group and I had a really nice time in general, but towards the time that we left it was VERY loud in the restaurant, this was around 7:00pm. It became so loud that I left with a sore throat (not joking) from having to project my voice just to be heard by the person across the table. I did really enjoy my food though.“
“We stumbled upon this place like 15yrs ago and found they have really really good food. They bottle their own salad dressing which is amazing if you like creamy Italian. Pasta good, pizza good. Toasted ravs are fair. Compared to other Stl spots but well worth the drive. We are central Stl so it's an easy 25 drive but again well worth it. And yes we took a bottle to go today.“
“Everything was great except the pizza which is sad considering their “specialty” is pizza. Salad’s were large and flavorful, house wine was great and poured generously and the bread was crispy and toasted to perfection. The atmosphere and service were top notch and the pizza was virtually flavorless, very plain tasting and it looked like they put 0 effort into the flavor and prep. of the crust which is sad considering I came here for the pizza. I would return but not for the pizza, everything else was that good.“
“This was a night out with my brothers and friends. We enjoyed the atmosphere. The drinks were okay. The bloody mary was simple, not much zing to the taste. It was kind of bland. Our server was polite and friendly. We were treated to vocals from retired football tight end Jackie Smith. He sounded great that night. A nice place for dinner or just cocktails after donner.“
“I dont think the salad making lady likes me. She smiles at all the men and facially scowls at me.....lol. Not a friendly gal for sure but, i go there for the food and it cannot b beat. The cashier guy is super nice and friendly too! Praise “
“OTITA!!!!! SHE IS AMAZING!!! Went ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations. Truly. I am a mom and went and had dinner with my 2 yr old and my best friend and her 3 yr old and she catered to us and treated us like family. I appreciate her hardwork and effort to make me feel so welcome and cared for. For fast food this was exceptional and I will be back to see her!! Thank you so so SO much Otita!!!“
“I ordered the Roasty Toasty for delivery to MoBap Hospital. I work in the medical buildings so it can be tricky to find us...the delivery guy, Nathan, was great! The online ordering process was so easy, and the food was next level! The pesto is bursting with flavor, and the whole pine nuts in the calzone added a great texture!! We are definitely going to order again!“
“This is probably my new favorite go to pizza spot. The food is super delicious the people are beyond nice and the prices are super reasonable. In St. Louis people think imos is the in all be all for stl style pizza but this place is the one.“
“Love these subs, as a rule. Kinda spendy, but usually yummy. Today one of our subs had a huge, way too thick slice of salami on it. Thanks for the extra, but way over the top for meat this time. Just do it right and it will be great! Don’t over-do or under-do.“
“If you're looking for authentic, this is the place. The service as you enter is welcoming and the ambiance gives you local hometown feels. The calamari was very flavorful and the food was so good. I got the Zitti con Vodka. So flavorful and enjoyed every bite. I had to try the tiramisu and was glad i I did. Oh n so good!“
“The food was excellent. Very well seasoned. The service was spectacular. And each course came out in an expeditious amount of time, such that I never felt like I was waiting between courses. I had the Paloma cocktail and another one called “Cello.” Both savory and delicious. A very well managed establishment.“
“We walked in without a reservation while traveling. They found a table for us. It was a very nice table and the service was amazing! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! The food was great and if ever in St. Louis again, we will be back.“
“I just tried this place and I was overall satisfied, but there are some pros and cons. I got the roast beef sandwich, pasta salad and potatoes with a side of their cheese sauce. The sandwich...very good. They forgot my aujus sauce, but I didn't care. It was absolutely delish! The pasta salad...great flavor. Ate that up first thing. Now the potatoes...meh. They looked wonderful, but they smelled just awful from the cheese they coat it with. They were just meh. I didn't eat a majority of it.The cheese sauce...also meh. Not much flavor. Didn't add anything to anything. I didn't eat that hardly either. The service....TOP NOTCH. The guy cooking was very friendly and made my order so quickly, plus, he kept that kitchen CLEAN AND TIDY, which is very hard to come by in the STL.In all...it is a small, simple joint, but I enjoyed this place and will be back to try many more sandwiches!“
“Great food, great portions, great atmosphere!!!! It’s so romantic!!!! I feel like I’m in Italy!!! ??Vegetarian options: There are many options!Parking: There is parking everywhere and even in the garage!Kid-friendliness: My kids love Italian!!! This place is awesome!!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Great place for wheel chairs as well.“
“I love this private, cozy restaurant with delicious Italian food right in my neighborhood. The unexpected right here in Ferguson. The weather has been so nice lately, so we can eat out back on the deck. The wine is delicious and service is always great!“
“Best unexpected menu item...Rolando's Merry Christmas Chicken Noodle soup. This is not your grandmother's Chicken soup! The soup was a delectable blend of tender chunks of chicken, sweet carrots, Christmas Tree pasta, and celery in a savory broth with melting Parmigiano cheese on top. A palate-pleasing meld of flavors for the soul!“
“Tried this restaurant yesterday. Had a reservation for Valentine’s Day. The food was really good and the waiter was nice. The restaurant wasn’t really crowded when we got there and we still had to wait. The table we got was a high top by the bar, would have preferred a booth or other table in the dining area but all in all it was a good experience. I’d go back for another steak, it was delicious.Dietary restrictions: Peanut free facilityParking: Lots of spots“
“I love pizza !!! This Chicago style deep-dish pizza is at the very top of my short list of pizzas. Here in St.Louis, MO. The cheese pulled from your face to the plate, then still had to cut it. I ordered the Meat deep-dish, with light sause,Great jobI got it for pick up, but friendly staff, and the time was right on point. I will be back for more PIZZA ? . A must stop in and get some. Bring an appetiteWheelchair accessibility: They have ADA entrance and seating“
“Just Wow. What a great place. I’ve more the gladly drove 20 minutes just for their sandwiches. They treat everyone with a courteous smile and it’s well known. If you want a sandwich or salad, take an extra few minutes and treat yourself right!“
“Special-ordered filet with shrimp, grilled to perfection and topped with a whole-roasted garlic cream sauce. Best carbonara I've ever had. Delicious fried escarole to start, delectable cassata cake to finish. Brought two kids and the servers treated them like royalty. This story is dime-a-dozen among Frank Papa's patrons. Brentwood's best-kept secret. Order the Carpini! Or the "eviction notice" pasta. Those chocolate martinis, and that chocolate ravioli. I could go on and on about this legendary restaurant. I could write a book about how working there changed my life. And tonight, I tell you now as a diner, the train is on the tracks and full speed ahead with Frank's more-than-capable nephew Rob at the controls. The food is still incredible, the service warm and welcoming, the atmosphere...home.If you have never been to Frank Papa's, I implore you: go. If you haven't been in a while: return. You won't find a more inviting fine-dining establishment with better food in St. Louis.“
“We stayed at the Cheshire hotel and were fortunate to have Basso on the premises! We met a friend here the first night of our stay. The restaurant is in the basement. The atmosphere was inviting with gas lit wall lights, a center bar with booths and high tops. Autumn was a wonderful server. She was so pleasant and informative. We really enjoyed having her as our server. Happy hour is from 4 to 6. We tried the fried meatballs, which were great. The lemon ravioli and the shrimp pasta dish were both delicious. Prices were reasonable. When you dine, the food taste and quality are top priority, but when the food is phenomenal and the service and atmosphere are just as good, it makes the experience memorable. We ended up returning on our second night! Julie was our server and we really enjoyed her, too. She was helpful and interested in our satisfaction! We tried the Brussel sprouts, an heirloom salad with delicious bread. Our entrees were the butcher steak and the burger. The steak was wood fired and super tender! The burger was delicious. The fries and shishito peppers were very good. We highly recommend this hidden gem and thank Autumn and Julie for making our stay in St. Louis so memorable! Oh, try the Secret Door specialty drink, a next level Old Fashioned“
“Friday lunch was delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and refined. The Peppe’s and spinach salads were very good. The entrees of veal piccata and grilled halibut were excellent as well. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra music was a wonderful addition to the experience. I can’t wait to return in spring when I can dine in their outdoor garden.“
“Staff was great. Very friendly Very helpful. Food was phenomenal!!! Tomatoe sauce was fabulous. Everyone in our group of 8 was very happy with everything they received.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp at front entrance. Can be tight in places but the staff will assist as needed“
“This was my first time eating here and let me tell you , the food was amazing and the service so kind and friendly. We went for lunch and the lunch prices are so reasonable. You get a starter , entree and beverage all for $13.95. Can’t beat that! I am already planning on going back this weekend. Highly recommended!“
“What a fantastic meal! The Del Pietro salad and a glass of wine were the perfect starters for the meal. I ordered the cheese tortellini with mushrooms and peas, and my husband ordered the Spaghetti alla Angela. The pasta was so delicate and just melted in our mouths. The decor was a beautiful mix of traditional and contemporary with wonderful lighting—a very relaxing atmosphere. One of the best pasta meals we've enjoyed lately.“
“The place is looking brand new. They could make a wide variety of calzone. They are making dough in house. You can have a beer or non-alcoholic drink. At the sweet side - I have eaten a calzone with apples and cinnamon. It was great, as well as calzone "Buffalo eye". Personnel is very friendly. I can recommend that place.“
“5 stars all around. Great workers, fast hot food which is amazing and very good prices especially when you do a nightly special but regardless the prices are better than most pizza places around. I highly recommend coming here.you won't regret it.“
“?????This place is great the food is always really good and made in a timely manner and the wait staff really go the extra mile to make sure everything is to your liking I believe our server's name was Tyler great guy really friendly we made sure to give him a big tip I've never had a server like that you can tell he really enjoys and cares about what he does I'll be recommending this place to everyone I know for sure ????☺️????Parking: Theres always plenty of spots to parkKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly they even give out crayons and paper for the kids our kids like the food so much they even drew a picture for the kitchen staff ??“
“Third time and have yet to be disappointed. I've tried all forms of ordering now. Did delivery today and the sandwiches arrived still warm and fresh. The special was amazing (sweet potato hammich) I think they should keep it on the menu! The ham was so flavorful and sliced perfectly thin. The cookie is unreal. Underbaked to perfection with giant chip-discs of chocolate. I've also dined in and the casual atmosphere is perfect for a quick lunch during the week or a casual catch up on a Saturday afternoon. This is for sure going to be in my regular rotation.“
“Massa's is a great old-school St. Louis style Italian restaurant, but a cut above many others in St. Charles County. We've gotten some great options recently and over the years, but Massa's is a staple. I love that they have other menu items that you can't find anywhere else. Their mussels and Parmesan crusted whitefish are two of my absolute favorites. I also love that they add pimento to their house salad although they dress it very heavily so I recommend asking for the dressing on the side. I also would prefer that the bread would come out warm, but it is good bread and they provide real butter. A+ There is a decent sized patio and they allow dogs and smoking so please keep that in mind. The only drawback to the patio is that it sits right in front of the parking lot so you have a great view of cars. LOL!“
“Our first time in.Nikki was awesome.Food was delish, even though one of the orders was wrong, it was still yummy. ( I ordered the tortellini in Cajun sauce and got the Cajun pasta instead) the boyfriend ordered the lasagna. He said he would give it a 4, and was happy it wasn’t small. HUGE portions. Dinner salad was one of the best we’ve ever had. Overall… we liked it, and will definitely go back.Parking: Easy parking, but a big dip going in and out… still not terrible.“
“I ordered two $4 Senior specials, one lasagna and one spaghetti and meatballs. The meals come with two breadsticks and a choice of a salad or a slice of pizza. The lasagna wasn’t anything special. The spaghetti with meatballs came with two meatballs. I added a side of 3 additional meatballs for $2. The spaghetti I would order again. The portions were smaller but you can’t beat the price. Both salads were fresh and the breadsticks were delicious. My recommendation on the lasagna is add more meat. The ratios didn’t taste right.“
“Especiallly pleased with service and atmosphere. You can actually have a conversation without shouting! Love the soups. Also pleased that they were willing to accommodate a dietary request. Food is always well prepared and served hot. I've ordered a variety of dishes over time and never been disappointed. Definitely would frequent more often if the price point were a bit lower, but, in general, they are in line with most other fine restaurants. I consider them a favoite and definitely recommend.“
“We had an amazing dinner tonight at YaYa’s! The sea scallops were exquisite and are the best we’ve had in St. Louis. The salmon salad and gnocchi were delectable, as were the cocktails. The icing on the cake was being served by the one and only, Andy Samberg!! I can’t believe he works here! The service was amazing as was his comedic nature! Everything about this place was top notch.!! We absolutely will be back! BEST.NIGHT. EVER!! ☺️“
“Holy foodies! family owned restaurant Ballwin, MO. Their product puts the famous IMOs pizza to shame. You MUST order the homemade sausage with the sauce and provell cheese... it's perfect.I recommend half pepperoni - bell pepper and pepperoni -pineapple.My mouth is watering writing this.we have a standing mandate to eat hear before any vacation. It is just that good.“
“While wandering around St. Louis, I found myself around the hill and thought Italian thats what I wanted for dinner. And could I remember the name of the place a friend told me about? "Onesto!" I shouted in my car, and I was off. Onesto is a small Italian place nestled in the Princeton Heights neighborhood; it is completely surrounded by residential houses. While I walked up, I was greeted by a little Sinatra and a smiling hostess. She led me right to a small table by a window, perfect for gazing out into the street. A small plate of garlic knots magically appeared and were just about right, lots of garlic, butter, and salt. Might had scarfed down the whole plate before drinks, and like magic, more appeared. I had the house sangria, which I can't remember what it was, but it was very tasty. Then the waitress took my order. I had the cannelloni, which was stuffed with beef and pork in a tomato cream sauce and topped with mozzarella. It was delicious. It came with an overflowing Caesar salad and more garlic knots. After that wonderful meal, I was too full for dessert and headed home. Overall, great little Italian place, food hit the spot, and the service was great.“
“Picked up my kids last night from college out of state & they HAD to get her Cecil's fix right away, despite how tired they were. Their pizza were PERFECT. Kudos to the new owner Katie. You provided wonderful, attentive service & the fois was great!“
“Holy cow, this place was awesome. I went with a group of 7 for lunch today. It was slammed with customers but they still got our orders taken and food to us in good time. The lady taking orders was fast and efficient while also being an absolute pleasure to deal with. The rest of the staff was just as good. I got the meatball sandwich and it was truly amazing. I was full when I finished it but still disappointed when it was gone. Overall it was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back the next time I'm in St. Louis.“
