“So glad this place exists in St. Charles! The frozen cocktails are delicious and strong. Narwhal's has the best drinks out of all the frozen cocktail places I have been to which includes places in Colorado, Florida, and other places in Missouri. The 40oz fishbowl is totally worth it! You keep the fishbowl and if you bring it back then you get $5 off refills. The staff is knowledgeable about the ingredients in the drinks like what type of alcohol is in them, etc. They also let you taste flavors before ordering them! Overall Narwhal's is a fantastic place to get drinks!“

“This is one of my go-to spots after a bike ride. Bbq and beer is a great reward for the hard work! Went yesterday and it was all decked out for st. Patrick's day plus had a special menu and was all staffed up. I got the corned beef special. Not normally something I'd go for but it was really good! “What an absolutely divine bar. My husband, brother-in-law, and myself popped in here for a couple of late night cocktails while walking around St. Charles. Kubrick’s was extremely welcoming, wonderfully decorated, and they even had fun drinks of the month. I have a deep appreciation for the aesthetic of this spot, and the bartender was extremely friendly. Please do keep in mind that if you do not like cigarette smoke, this place may not be for you, as smoking is allowed inside. We will definitely be back when we are in Missouri again next year, visiting my in-laws for the holiday!“
“My all time favorite breakfast spot! The gluten free menu is excellent and very celiac friendly. I cried when I found out I could have a pancake for the first time since being diagnosed with celiac. The chocolate chip pancake is the best! The liquid queso is DELICIOUS on the eggs and hashbrowns. I highly recommend the Vanna White omelette. Our server Karlie was amazing today! I had my birthday celebration here with 20+ people and not only did they make us feel welcome…but they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed… Sunday Bottomless flavored mimosas… really good food… Absolutely best group of people for their staff! You cannot ask for a friendlier or harder working bunch of people! You have your outside back patio to enjoy ….. or inside dining ….. this place really knows how to host a party ! “Visited twice, dishes we've had so far: The deep fried red snapper, burrito, chicken empanadas, mole (very good!), tacos, and guacamole. In general, the dishes are tasty. We really enjoyed the red snapper and mole, unique from the typical "mexican" fare in St. Louis (mushy stuff covered in slimy cheese). The mole sauce and tacos are flavorful, the rest of the dishes are well presented, generous portions, and fresh ingredients, maybe a bit on the bland side. The red and green salsas that come with the chips are fresh--the first time we had them, they had more spicy kick and stronger flavor, the second visit they were dialed down--each batch must come out a little different. They make their own margarita sour--it's delicious!! Has a hint of ginger, comes in 2 jar sizes, large and larger! The space is kinda like a diner/neighborhood bar & grille--it's spacious and clean. Highly recommended! I hope they expand their traditional dishes and offer more vegetarian options. Also, some extra hot choices for us spice addicts.“
“This little dive bar is so adorable. There were a couple of pups there which i loved. But im not sure if dogs are allowed so they might have been service dogs. The bartender was very nice and i even got "gonged" for being a first timer. It sucks they dont serve food. But the regulars there were very nice and welcoming. There is a touch tunes juke box available. Only down side is that there is smoking allowed inside. But i will definitely be back because it was a great experience.“

She's friendly, quick to get your order to you and great at remembering what you drink. Their prices are very reasonable and the place has a very laid back atmosphere. “I was on vacation from Pittsburgh and this was the first bar I went to on my first night. This place is definition of a midwest dive bar and I wouldn't want it any other way. Most dive bars are filled with regulars. So when I came in with a pirates hoodie I got some looks. But was treated great. The bartenders and customers are very nice people to talk to. The drinks were good and they have free popcorn. I cant wait to use my drink chip next time I go back“

“Rented out the bar for a taco Tuesday fiesta themed wedding. The overall booking/rental process was a breeze with Trent. The space accommodated our 60 guest and prompted everyone to mingle as a happy hour setting. There was plenty of seating during the dinner service part of our evening. Aldelso our server was a dream come true. He was engaging with all the guests and basically a part of the group by the end of the evening. He saw to it that no one’s drink ran dry and everyone was overall enjoying their time there. Family and friends are still talking about the food and the service from our experience at Rosalita’s weeks ago. The bar space was sectioned off so we had the space to ourselves to spread out and mingle. Taco Tuesday wedding party, only thing missing was a queso fountain.“
“I loved Margo Margo! As someone who loves sweet drinks (especially margaritas), I was so happy with the way my margarita was made. They were very busy and had someone who I assume works in the kitchen helping out being food out and he was so kind even though he wasn't sure what went where. Our actual server was good too. I got the Hawaiian shrimp taco and it was so good i forgot to take a picture of it. Even though i do think the tacos are a bit pricey since most people will be eating more than one, I would say it is comparable to the prices of other taco places in the area. I really liked how cute they had it decorated in there too; the neon signs and greenery wall really added to the ambiance. I can't wait to come back and try other drinks!“

“The third stop in our 2024 eclipse trip. A quick search brought us to Novellus. The wife likes her mimosas, so that's a part of the search string when looking for a brunch place. We ordered the Bottomless mimosas and Bourbon for breakfast for drinks. Then Seafood Benedict and the Riverside Omelette with a side of gravy for entrees. Jackie (Jacks), our server, was awesome and timely. The flavors and portions were great. Novellus has been added to the list of restaurants to return in the future.“
“Our family had dinner on August 1st. Our server was friendly and accurately recorded each order. The food was delivered exactly as we ordered. Delicious and hot. The server helped us with all our needs and especially the kids in our group. As we were leaving I found out they were short staffed, and still the food/service was outstanding. Will return again.
