What can I say about this place that you haven’t already heard or seen in person. This place is a STL institution and has the best breakfast you can get! The environment is fun, the menu items have bold and delicious flavors and the prices are reasonable for the amount you get. If you are in STL this has to be on your list of breakfast places to try. Based on the reviews, Shack Breakfast & Lunch is a favorite breakfast spot with very friendly and excellent staff who are incredibly helpful, give great recommendations, and always know what customers want. The service is described as having just the right amount of attention and a great attitude. The restaurant is a neat place with many choices on the menu, which has funny names for every item. Specific meals mentioned include the Starchy & Cruck, the Smokin em if you got'em breakfast skillet, the John Denver omelet, chicken and waffle, and the loaded hash. The pancakes are huge and delicious, and the adult beverages, like the spicy bloody Mary, are really good. Everything on the menu is good, and you can get breakfast at lunch time also. The portions are generous, and the food is so tasty. Customers have left items like cellphones and debit cards and got them back with no problem, as the staff kept them safe.
