About Bormio

Bormio is a cozy restaurant located in the basement of the building that also houses Noto, offering a different but equally impressive dining experience. Specializing in Northern Italy cuisine, it is praised for its delicious food, great service, and inviting atmosphere. Visitors often highlight the quality of the dishes, such as the fish, potato/bacon dip, Alpine meatballs, Sauerbraten, and venison, which are described as flavorful and well-prepared. The restaurant also features a good wine list and wonderful cocktails, making it a popular spot for both drinks and meals. Many guests appreciate the attentive staff, with servers like Megan and Emily receiving praise for their knowledge and friendliness. The atmosphere is relaxed, with music set at a level that allows for easy conversation. The decor may not be remarkable for everyone, but the overall experience is highly regarded. Visitors have enjoyed celebrating special occasions here, and some consider it a hidden gem worth discovering. While some mention that certain dishes, like the coppa and sauerbraten, could use a bit more flavor, the majority find Bormio to be a delightful surprise and a great alternative to the upstairs Noto. Overall, Bormio offers a memorable dining experience with excellent food, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe, making it a recommended choice for those seeking Northern Italy cuisine in the area.

We decided to try something new. I live a few miles from there and have never eaten there.
It is below their other restaurant Noto.
Our server Megan was awesome and the food was phenomenal.

Love the vibes, unique food & cocktails and the service.

We've been here twice now (once for apps and cocktails and last night for dinner) and it's been outstanding both times. It's a hidden gem in the basement of the building Noto's is in but it is not generally as busy as Noto's. Northern Italy cuisine so different than it's upstairs friends but every bit as good (maybe better). Highly recommend! I had the fish and it was wonderful and we all split two apps (potato/bacon dip and Alpine meatballs) and they were both fabulous. Wine...read full review
