“The food was delicious. My wife said her gyro was the best gyro she's ever had. I had the chicken shawarma and it was really good. The prices are better than they should be for the food you get. I would definitely recommend trying this place. My only complaint is that the TV in the dining area was stuck on a news channel while we were there, which was showing some pretty brutal war photos, but that's on me for feeling too awkward to want to ask them to change the channel.“
“We had an amazing dinner tonight at YaYa’s! The sea scallops were exquisite and are the best we’ve had in St. Louis. The salmon salad and gnocchi were delectable, as were the cocktails. The icing on the cake was being served by the one and only, Andy Samberg!! I can’t believe he works here! The service was amazing as was his comedic nature! Everything about this place was top notch.!! We absolutely will be back! BEST.NIGHT. EVER!! ☺️“
“Clayton is pretty much the best bartender ever, and I drink well enough, so I know ;) I stop in for a slice of hands down the best carrot cake in the world and a White Russian - always ALWAYS ALWAYS treated well , the employees all provide top of the line experiences.“
“I entertain customers so I'm always having good restaurant experiences. Edgewild never disappoints. Interestingly they are able to prepare really elaborate dishes that taste great quickly. Staff is always great and the service is impeccable.“
“Our waitress was awesome and in fact, all the employees were very friendly. The food was great. We recently had a bad experience with a waitress at the South County location, so we thought we'd try the Chesterfield location. It was definitely worth the extra drive.“
“We ate here tonight for the first time as we were in the area. One of the workers saw me with my mobility scooter as I am currently disabled. He waited holding the door for several minutes to make sure that I was able to get inside. Then he helped me by carrying menus to the first open table. He repeatedly checked on us to make sure that I didn't need anything and didn't have to get up. The other worker in the area was constantly cleaning and making sure that everyone had everything they needed. I have been in very expensive restaurants where I haven't gotten near the quality of service as I did here at a counter service restaurant. But not only was the service great, the food was delicious. The catfish was some of the best I have ever had and their tartar sauce was delicious. We also shared a shrimp po' boy and chicken and shrimp with an appetizer of fried pickles for the table. While everything else was very good, the catfish was the shining star of the meal. We live far away, otherwise this would be a frequently visited restaurant for us. Highly recommend.“
“If you love food bursting with flavor made fresh to order in a friendly atmosphere you need to go to Jalea! Every time I’ve been here, the experience is 5 stars! The owner and his family are welcoming and value their customers. It’s very apparent in their service and quality of the dishes! I love that there isn’t a 5 page menu to dig through. They have their set menu and they have mastered every single dish! From the arroz con pollo seasoned to perfection, to the seafood ceviche your tastebuds will be dancing with delight! You must start with the plantain chips (1 order is not enough lol) and finish off with their tiramisu and Colombian coffee made fresh to order! So glad to have found this place! Call ahead on a weekend night, it is definitely worth any wait!“
“We were excited to try the Tavern tonight for the first time. We were a bit underwhelmed. I only got 3 scallops for a $45 entree (even Disney will give you 4 for the same price). Additionally, the fries and baked cookie had a burnt aftertaste from the oven. For $150, we thought it was significantly overpriced for what we got.“
“0 a+ rating I would just say that everything was on time and it was hot prepared immaculately and on top of that you could get no better in service or privacy so if you want to instrument dinner with somebody that you care about deeply this would be the place to have it so a+ double a plus in my book“
“We sat outside for lunch, cute patio, comfortable and inviting. The server was very good, we didn't have to wait for anything, drinks were very good the Hanger steak & fries was the absolute best Hanger steak I've ever had, the chimichuri was a great compliment to the steak. My husband had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo it was amazing, the sauce had the best flavor and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We definitely will be back!!“
“Fantastic! The bowl was delicious and nutritious, which is hard to find in St. Charles county. I eat clean and this place is a Godsend! You can customize everything, and it tastes amazing in any combination.Vegetarian options: Everything is customizable with vegan and vegetarian options.“
“Had chicken enchilada soup + walleye fillet for lunchSoup, fish and fries were very good.Went at 1 PM CT and It was not crowded at that timeService was very good and we were promptly served.Overall a very good experience. Thank you.Parking: Plenty of parking spots during lunch time since Dance Academy is not open at that time.“
“Wow ! What a great place from the food to the decor as soon as you step just inside the door it screams Mexico. I used their event room all day for meetings. Liz and Dave took great care of me all day. Dave was my right hand man, I will be back.“
“First time here. We had the catfish and shrimp combo. We also had the gumbo fries and jerk chicken fries with the soft shell crab sandwich. The food was great. The guy taking our order was very helpful and had great recommendations. Would definitely recommend.“
“My wife and I love Koibito and are frequent visitor’s for lunch and dinner. The bowls are amazing and the staff provide exceptional service. Huge shout out to Jon who always greets us with a smile and we enjoy the few minutes conversing as he prepares our bowls. We will keep coming back.“
“We went tonight for the first time! First off, so great to have a nice resteraunt and non-chain in O'Fallon! Food was great, service was great and loved the ambiance! Always love supporting local! This will definitely be one of our regular places! Looking forward to going back soon!“
“always a great meal, reasonable prices and always a drink special! Harry really knows how to do this upright. It's a seafood, gumbo, all around great restaurant. If you're interested in those types of great things, including fried clams, fish tacos, and crab, I highly recommend it !“
“Greeted immediately upon entering by friendly staff. Service was great, food cooked to perfection. ?? Atmosphere had a great vibe. Compliments to the bartender on the Drinks. They were great as well. Overall, great first-time experience. Will definitely be back to try more options on the menu.“
“My first time here and I’m excited to come back. Friendly, relaxed environment and wide variety in menu. Park in lot in the back. The doors from the street are locked. It was a busy Saturday night but we arrived at 6:30 and didn’t need reservation. The seared salmon had a unique flavor with garlic, pecan balsamic and pesto. Cherry pie was disappointing.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu with $7 meals“
“Wine was cold, appetizer hot, food plentiful and hot. Service was great. Prices reasonable. Definitely a repeat. Little known gem.Parking: Anyway large strip mallWheelchair accessibility: They have booths or tables with chairs which can be removed and easy seating for wheelchair. No steps“
“The seafood is awesome. The shrimp are huge. The serving sizes are very large so I always have some left to take home. The Gumbo is great. It's not too spicy. They let us try it the first time for free. Now we always get it. The service is also good too.“
“Pretty solid. Was our first time having Indian, so this was a new experience. We got the dinner for 2, the soup was super good! The chicken tikka masala and the lamb curry was nice, though my lamb had a super crunchy bit that I couldn’t tell what it was. Not as spicy as I was hoping for but I was happy. The rice pudding they gave wasn’t very good, had a muted taste. The bread was excellent. Service was okay, the servers weren’t very chatty and we had like 4 different people checking in. Kind of an awkward experience. Would definitely get carry out or go again!“
“Well, I've only been once to get oysters for a NYE soiree. The industrial park joint was none too fancy and, of course, smelled about like you'd expect a seafood wholesaler's to, but super friendly service, solid selection, great price and quality, so five stars for my needs.“
“The food was very good. Our sever "Jennifer" was kinda rude and did not return after paying check. Coffee and Juice is not included with brunch it was on or the other which seemed odd to me. I will be back just with another sever.“
“We went here tonight for a birthday celebration. We have been wanting to try this place for awhile. After the most current reviews I was a little worried about trying it but we decided to anyway. I'm so glad we did. Everything was exceptional!!!! We were seated with minutes of arriving. Got drinks right away. Our waitress Sierra was fabulous!!! She was patient while we took our time deciding what we wanted. She was very attentive. Never had to ask for a refill. Our food was amazing!!! There was 6 of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. I definitely recommend this place.“
“We've passed this place several times and for my birthday, I figured we'd give it a try.The place is exactly the aesthetic I was hoping for, a lodge/inn look, with great lighting and simple decor. It's not something others may care about, but for me, it sets a great mood. And this place delivers on that for me.I was told they had a tomahawk ribeye steak on special, and I couldn't resist ordering it (admittedly, without asking the price), my wife ordered the filet.I don't want to complain too much, especially since we didn't bring it up to our server, but we both ordered the steaks medium-rare, and what we both received was medium to medium-well... a significant temperature difference. Especially for those cuts. That was disappointing, but we stopped 'complaining' about overcooked steaks a long time ago; too many horror stories. But, the flavor was outstanding, seasoned flawlessly, my only nitpick on the tomahawk (besides being overcooked) was the rosemary garnish, it should have been left off the dish unless you love to eat those needles. That is pretty much culinary school 101, don't plate something that can't or shouldn't be eaten. The staff was great with everything else, including bringing me a cupcake with a candle on it and wishing me a 'Happy Birthday'.For the price, I expected much better preparation of the steaks, but the place itself, the service/staff, and the overall flavor of everything were very very good. It's a birthday dinner I'll not forget (in a good way).“
“I’ve been here many times since the start of 2024. The service has been amazing each time. They go above and beyond, checking on you throughout the visit and making sure everything is okay. The food is AMAZING! They actually leave a sauce at the bottom of the boil which allows you to dip your food in it throughout the meal. They put mounds of garlic at the bottom, which I love. The food always comes out steaming hot to where I burn my hands even though the gloves, but that’s 100% my fat self’s fault! The food doesn’t take too long to come out but not too quick as to where it is suspicious. I truly believe they make each order as they come. They even gave me a free slice of cheesecake for my birthday, which was very sweet. Will definitely continue to come back. Thank you!“
“I love gulf shores restaurants. The one in edwardsville had some problems with the turnover on cooks so stopped going. This one had good food I recommend the crab cakes. I got the mixed grill it wasn't very hot but we had 10 people in our group.“
“We have been looking for 4 years for a neighborhood Chinese restaurant and have tried so many. We got the General Tso's chicken and Mongolian Beef. The General's chicken was very, very good. Fresh - not reused already fried chicken - and very tasty. Mongolian Beef was okay, we won't order again. The steamed white rice was amazing! We will be ordering different dishes and are hoping we have found our neighborhood place.“
“The food was delicious and cooked correctly. Portion size was good. The salads were outstanding for size, somehow the Parmesan cheese had a flat taste as well as the dressing. The mushrooms and flounder could use a little more substance in the filling. The biscuits aren't quite what they used to be. On the plus side, we enjoyed lobster, crab, shrimp and steak in our dining party. The waitress did a great job! They had an area of the restaurant closed, in spite of having to wait 45 minutes, leading to the possibility of understaffing on a Friday night during Lent! There was no bartender when we arrived. The seating seemed personal, not too much noise interference from other tables.Parking: Even for a Friday night during Lent, there was ample parking not to far from the front door.Kid-friendliness: At a table near us, they provided plastic drinking glasses with lids and straws.“
“Visited just following lunch at around 1:30 ish PM. Very few people dining in (two). I ordered an edamame appetizer and the menu item SASHIMI WITH A KICK (special “kick” spicy sauce). All items suited me. My only drawback to the experience was that the sashimi (two pieces) were really well refrigerated and affected my sensitive teeth. I will eat here again because I do follow MUNSOK SO.“
“I ordered 4 meatloaf lunch specials today, let me tell you, these portions are huge! I am partial to my Momma's meatloaf but, this was absolutely amazing! Mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, and the best green beans that I have ever had! Amazing prices, amazing food, and the best Strawberry-Rhubarb pie that I have ever had! There isn't any better out there! Amazing experience!“
