Based on our experience this is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city, no idea why ratings aren't better. The only downside is a great reason to go: they need more customers! I've heard many Hispanic restaurants are having trouble lately w. customers (incl legal residents) afraid to come out, so this is a good time to support them. But it's a great space and a fun vibe.“

THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT! Reservations are difficult to secure for 3 but the woman (I believe her name was Grace but don't quote me on that. Please correct me so I can provide her name) who is in charge of reservations explained the process and how to achieve a reservation for 3.
We were sat as soon as our reservation time started! Never happens that fast. 8:30 we were in our seats.
Okay last night was incredible. Our server was genuinely kind. Priscilla was very patient, informative and the most pleasing personality trait was her non invasive style of service. Top notch girly! I loved every moment of service. AND I LOVED how our courses were timed and cleared at the same time. The staff came together like a ballroom dance and cleared our plates and most importantly they reset and prepared us for the next course. You'll be stuffed by the end BUT GET THE SUNDAE!!!! Childhood nostalgia and sooo yummy. I can't explain enough about what a joy this experience was. Service IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. You get what you pay for. I love the intentional small, private, true dining experience. This is just not a turn and burn restaurant. It's an experience. Ugh I can't wait to go back. “We go to Yellowstone Cafe every time we are passing through St. Louis. The Walleye fish dinner is their speciality but all their fish dinners are excellent. In our party our order consisted of Crabcakes, Frog legs, and of course the Walleye.
Three nights a week they offer a kids special platter for 99 cents! What a bonus for parents. Their French fries are very good! The Green Goddess dressing is excellent on their house salad.
The atmosphere is casual, so come as you are.“

“This review is for the bakery ONLY. Everytime we go to St. Louis, we stop here (We live at the Lake of the Ozarks). The mini custard pies are amazing, try the fried, sesame seed balls which are filled with two different kinds of bean custard, both are delicious.
The yeast buns are stuffed with a variety of sweets and cheeses and are killer. On the right side of the shop as you enter, there are usually a few versions of the Dim Sum they serve next door in the restaurant and they are all DELICIOUS!

I've purchased the Duck & the deep fried pork hanging in the window, several times & it's been legit. We buy half a duck because there's only 3 of us, but plenty. I always order a small order of their rice so we can eat our duck at the hotel.
It can be VERY crowded on the weekends, so come as soon as they open. There's usually only the one lady working the register and dude chopping up the duck & pork, but they're fast. A++++ It's not cheap but it's soooo worth it.“

“I was a bit skeptical about making a purchase because their parking lot is always empty. But I said let's chance it and upon placing order and waiting the customers started to arrive. It seems as though everyone placed their order and left, so that would explain the empty parking lot. Conversated with someone I knew from the local roller skating rink and order was completed in a timely manner, say 20 minutes. I ordered the catfish & wing platter, which was surprisingly tasteful, I liked the wings the best, (seasoned well) while the catfish seemed more like tilapia but overall the meal was satisfying and came with bread, fries, pickles and onions. Overall I believe that I will make a return visit just to try out different menu items because it's close to home. I also liked the fact that it was clean and roomy.“
