“I visited the Ferguson location today w a friend who will be moving away from STL shortly. We were both first time visitors. Cathy was cooking and the food was amazing. My friend had the Friday Special (catfish, shrimp, and wings) while I chose the Thursday special of wings and shrimp. Both dishes were perfectly executed, tasty, and not at all oily. 10/10. Please support this small business.“

“Food was excellent the 1st time. Not sure what happened the 2nd time. The crab cakes were light and packed with crab, but the 2nd time they were thick with the breading, almost like 2 different items. Service was great both times. Had steak and lobster the 1st visit and the seafood entree the 2nd time.“

“I was a bit skeptical about making a purchase because their parking lot is always empty. But I said let's chance it and upon placing order and waiting the customers started to arrive. It seems as though everyone placed their order and left, so that would explain the empty parking lot. Conversated with someone I knew from the local roller skating rink and order was completed in a timely manner, say 20 minutes. I ordered the catfish & wing platter, which was surprisingly tasteful, I liked the wings the best, (seasoned well) while the catfish seemed more like tilapia but overall the meal was satisfying and came with bread, fries, pickles and onions. Overall I believe that I will make a return visit just to try out different menu items because it's close to home. I also liked the fact that it was clean and roomy.“

“Only 4 starts just because I need to try more, but just what I had tonight alone already makes this my top 10 places to try out whether you live here or visiting. I stopped in St Louis for the night on the way back to Texas from Ohio and wanted to check this place out after being out with my dog at the Arches. Pulled up here, I would say for an out of towner parking is a little confusing, but could also most definitely just be me because I thinks I missed a turn. Anyways, there system was down so only had to do cash, wasn't a big deal, is what it is at times. Came back with some cash and got seated outside. As soon as I sat down everyone was super welcoming to me and especially my dog. One server made her a pup cup and was so amazing to see her go that distance. They gave her a water bowl, constant fills, and even helped me out with getting her a dog friendly burger to eat and constant treats. Honestly, super amazing how she was treated by staff, as well as some mini conversations at times. Just stopping by in town on my own for a night, I guess I really did need some social interaction and that helped. My drink was great, I had the Breezy Blooze, just amazing and way better than I expected with some alcoholic kick. For starters I had the alligator tacos, and would say the only shirt coming on that was just that the gator bites themselves were a little cold or at least room temp, but regardless, it still tasted amazing and couldn't stop eating it. I also ordered the Garlic Cream Linguine without the veggies. I didn't want celery and taking that out takes out the rest of the veggies, but honestly it's perfectly ok to me. I added shrimp as well as crawfish for an extra $10, and let me just tell you... I could drink the sauce just by itself. Super incredible, the shrimp was a little small but was still delicious. I rarely have crawfish, not sure why, but it's rare. That also tasted amazing. I honestly wasn't trying to stuff myself with everything but I just couldn't help myself. The outside seating and decor and very welcoming and relaxing with rgb lighting throughout. The stage itself looks pretty cool as well. Whoever was playing tonight on the 23rd sounded amazing as well. Definitely wanting to eat here again whenever the next time I am back here. “My boyfriend and I went on a double date to the aquarium and we’re planning on going somewhere else. We looked across the water and decided last minute to hop in. The inside is very vintage, white tablecloth, but the vibes are very cozy and casual. We were served by the ever so lovely Sierra. AND SHE DESERVES HER FLOWERS AND A RAISE. She suggested this amazing wine called the menage a trois, and so kind and personable. We were conversing after the bill and she left a drop of wisdom. “I treat others how I want to be treated.” We will definitely be back soon. 🤍 Oh and get the crawfish étouffée, and the crab spinach dip! “We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“After visiting the Fox Theater on Saturday we had reservations for 6. Our table was ready and our server Wendy was absolutely delightful. Our drinks, appetizers, dinner(fresh pasta) and desserts did not disappoint. The manager stopped by twice to check on us. Incredible! I had two smoked old fashioneds, we enjoyed the bang bang shrimp, Imperial dip, our main courses and even desserts Dad had the Bourbon brownie and I enjoyed my Drunken coconut pie. Sabrina was super sweet, energetic and she went over the top, not just for us but for multiple tables. She is an absolute blessing to have as our waitress. “Kreis' is old school, and that's not a bad thing. So many establishments like these are falling out of favor, but they're so necessary. Propriety. Decorum. They have a place and you'll find them here. Impeccable service. Impeccable dining. And they were spot on about the prime rib. This is the best I've had since Vegas in 1996. Kreis' prime rib is my new #1. We'll be back the next time we're in town.“

Not only was every piece we received so delicious from the bread to the actual dishes, but the service was 10/10 and we had so much support from the staff to make our experience memorable. The workers would even apologize when reaching over you to fill your water, like hello I should be the one apologizing for being in the way! Every single bite was heavenly and the portions are big so I was able to enjoy leftovers later too. It’s definitely on the pricier side because it’s a fancy restaurant but nothing that I believe isn’t worth it. I will 100% come back when I can! “I don't typically write food reviews and if I do it's either you're horrible or you're amazing. I stop by today because I was craving buffalo fish. My mom used to make it all the time and she passed away last year in May. Their debit machine was down and I only had $10 in cash and I told them I'll be right back. Thank goodness my brother stays around the corner and I was able to come back. The customer service was amazing and the fish was delicious. I was able to stop at my grandmother's house who is almost 90 years old and share some with her. Needless to say she love the fish too and I'll be back next weekend to buy her a plate! ♥“

We ordered the Shanghai Bamboo Soup, braised duck, Pork Shank, steamed pork in lotus leaf, and beef with Hangzhou peppers. Everything was delicious!

The Shanghai Bamboo Soup was rich and comforting, and the house-cured pork gave the broth so much flavor. The beef with Hangzhou peppers was incredibly tender and probably one of my favorite dishes. The Pork Shank was huge, fall-apart tender, and packed with flavor. Definitely recommend ordering it if you're sharing with a group.

Had waited at another restaurant which was clear we would not have time to eat, and catch the performance. So we went across the street to try Gary’s. The 5 of us got right in, our waiter was fantastic, he was so talented, and great with my granddaughters. Ate a wonderful meal, everyone liked their selection. We did not have time for dessert so the waiter brought us each of us over a piece of chocolate cake with our meals.😊 we will be going back to Gary’s, because of the service and food. “This review is for the bakery ONLY. Everytime we go to St. Louis, we stop here (We live at the Lake of the Ozarks). The mini custard pies are amazing, try the fried, sesame seed balls which are filled with two different kinds of bean custard, both are delicious.
The yeast buns are stuffed with a variety of sweets and cheeses and are killer. On the right side of the shop as you enter, there are usually a few versions of the Dim Sum they serve next door in the restaurant and they are all DELICIOUS!

I've purchased the Duck & the deep fried pork hanging in the window, several times & it's been legit. We buy half a duck because there's only 3 of us, but plenty. I always order a small order of their rice so we can eat our duck at the hotel.
It can be VERY crowded on the weekends, so come as soon as they open. There's usually only the one lady working the register and dude chopping up the duck & pork, but they're fast. A++++ It's not cheap but it's soooo worth it.“
