“Always great seafood. Expensive, but all of the seafood is about as good as it gets. The best shrimp I have ever had, anywhere. Fantastic steaks also. Try the carrot cake for desert. It is a gigantic portion and is fantastic. Worth the trip just for the cake.“

“I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have 5 stars across the board. The place is perfect! Presentation, flavor, service, all is perfect! We had a variety of different plates tonight. I have never had a disappointment with anything here. However, when asked what my favorite tastes were, I have to say the scallops, which was a special, or the shrimp scampi, (an hors d’oeuvre) were at a tie. Both perfectly cooked and the scampi with the sauce and the bread is incredible! We also had Mac n cheese, onion rings and fries as a side. Normally I don’t get these items, as I never would at another restaurant, but here, you know it’s going to be great with our next few meals! The halibut and the vodka past were also both perfect! I really don’t know how else I can describe it. We ended it with a Tavern Sundae as well as espresso. The sundae was again, something I would never order, (I’m not a dessert person) but it was served with chocolate, vanilla, strawberry ice cream, homemade whip cream, hot fudge and a variety of toppings. Sounds basic, but with multiple people, it was the perfect way to end meal! Drinks, cocktails are great and creative (or classic) and the wine list is a perfect pairing to any meal you have. Service is always a plus for me and every time I have been, they always deliver! Well done!!“

We arrived shortly after 430pm and we're taken immediately to a seat and we're given some seafood bread.
Our food came pretty fast.
We had the boudin balls, fried catfish, fried gator, and 3lbs of snow crab legs.

“First time visit. Went for our anniversary. The attention to detail was excellent. We've spent a lot more at similar steakhouses and haven't had nearly the wonderful experience as we had here! Being seated by the manager was a nice touch. Prior to going, the only thing we knew was that it was attached to a Holiday Inn, which made us suspect and we thought we'd be severely disappointed. But since it got a good rating on Yelp we chanced it-- we're so glad we did! The cocktails were delicious and interesting. The wine list superb. We LOVED the salads that arrived "family style"- a Caesar and a mixed-greens salad choice. They came with homemade dressings that I wanted to drink from the bowls! Our steaks were cooked to our liking. I ordered the filet Oscar style and it was delicious! There were many choices of sides from which to choose. We ordered the whipped potatoes, asparagus, and the pepper cream sauce for my wife's filet and they were all yummy! Finally, we were given a free large slice of their "wedding cake" (vanilla cake with a phenomenal almond buttercream frosting) for dessert and devoured it! Don't hesitate going here. They have their set menu and they have mastered every single dish! From the arroz con pollo seasoned to perfection, to the seafood ceviche your tastebuds will be dancing with delight! “Two couples meeting to celebrate a retirement. Service and food were top notch. He walked us through the menu, suggesting meal pairings. Severs never hovered, but swept in when needed. Three of four steaks were about perfect. The 4th was quickly resolved with no issue. Lobster maccaroni and cheese and roasted Brussel sprouts were very good.“

My wife got pork chops, which was great. Twice baked potatoes were great. The salad was good. Toasted ravioli was just ok. Desert cheesecake was good. apple pie was good.
Wish they had booths, not a big fan of tables will for sure go back.

I stopped eating gizzards years ago because of London and Sons failure to hold good food after the passing of the throan, no one had gizzards like them. But after being introduced to Hooks recently , this is the place for good fried tasty food! Check them out in the little plaza!“

“Decided to treat my daughter and granddaughter to luncheon today. I chose Red Lobster since I hadn't been in a long time. Boy did they enjoy their meals. Everything wasn't to their taste. Some of the sauces were heavy handed. I enjoyed my stuffed Flounder & mashed potatoes but slaw not so much. Our waitress was great ? very personable. She was kept busy. Someones baby wasn't Happy till it was time to leave. Atmosphere was cordial and we had a nice outside view where we sat. Great get together,me and my Girls. I'm Blessed.

Parking: Parking exclusively for the restaurant right off the thoroughfare. Plenty of parking space.

Kid-friendliness: We experienced a baby crying the whole time but didn't prove problematic. And I saw a number of people showing down with young ones of varying ages. Large facility and space to accommodate any and all kinds of groups ?

“Came for Thanksgiving buffet. The food and service was fantastic. We had a variety of breakfast and Thanksgiving dinner dishes. I ate 3 plates each with different food. I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese and the mash with gravy and also to stuff was great. I had 5 different kinds of fruit and a waffle with mixed berries topping. Scrambled eggs sausage with biscuits and gravy. I might have gained ten pounds but well worth it. I look forward to coming back. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.“
