“Minus one star for the overall dining space, but it was clean, that’s most important. Employee was very welcoming and attentive. I’m not a big seafood person so I ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings. Their wings are served breaded and come with a dusting of the lemon pepper. Was surprised the wings came with TWO sides. I got the fries and, upon the employee’s recommendation, the red beans and rice. Glad I took her up on the recommendation, it was so good. I will be back to try other items. Nice to have a place like this in town.“

We went to go and get our order and they had a huge slice of cheesecake waiting for us along with the tip in cash we had put on our order. “For a casual place this had one of the best waiters ever. It was this young guy that I didn't expect to be super attentive cuz Unfortunately The Stereotype is that they won't be. But he barely even had to talk to us he just anticipated our every need and fulfilled it and went on about his business. We didn't even have to ask for to go boxes.

The inside is very vintage, white tablecloth, but the vibes are very cozy and casual. We were served by the ever so lovely Sierra. AND SHE DESERVES HER FLOWERS AND A RAISE. She suggested this amazing wine called the menage a trois, and so kind and personable. “We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“Most come to the Hill for Italian at the usual places, Zia's, Dominic's and Charlie Gitto's. Most will pass this gem up due to it being in the Drury Plaza hotel, you SHOULDN'T DO THAT. The food is made fresh to order and it clearly shows! The decor is very upscale and perfect for a business lunch or dinner and at $30 per person, a good deal. If you add wine the price will go up but would still be worthwhile due to the quality in evidence.“

“Let me just preface this by saying I moved here from South Texas and have spent more than my fair share of time in Old Mexico. In years of searching for REAL Mexican food in St Louis, I’ve had many disappointments. This place was absolutely fantastic and pure pleasure for an old Texan. It even made me shhh my wife because I wasn’t willing to remove my focus from the delicacy I was partaking in. Can’t recommend this place enough and haven’t been able to stop telling others about it. “I’ll give it 5 stars cause the food fyre. But the black girl that sit at the register send the phone to voicemail and don’t answer when there is other people in there ordering. Some people come from 20+ minutes away and don’t feel like ordering a waiting. Do better with customer service. The attitude is horrible. Try speaking when others enter into your workplace you chose to work at. I can’t stand rude people with attitudes and it’s always our kind. Do better“

“Recently ate there, really by accident, we had tickets for an early performance at the Fox theater, but had no reservations. Had waited at another restaurant which was clear we would not have time to eat, and catch the performance. So we went across the street to try Gary’s. The 5 of us got right in, our waiter was fantastic, he was so talented, and great with my granddaughters. Ate a wonderful meal, everyone liked their selection. We did not have time for dessert so the waiter brought us each of us over a piece of chocolate cake with our meals.😊 we will be going back to Gary’s, because of the service and food. Please give it a try if you are in the area you won’t be disappointed.“

The fried rice was a 10 outta 10 the St Paul needed more seasoning. The place looks a little sketchy but it was worth it. A lot of people were ordering the duck im try that next time.“

“OMG! The food is VERY TASTY, the staff are always welcoming. The owner makes you feel like your home with family. I live in the city, the food & service is worth the drive. Everything on the menu is delicious, it’s easy for me to spend $80-$110. I appreciate how they show your order before it’s bagged, it gives the customer the option to correct or ask questions on it. I’m familiar with the saying: ya can’t please everyone, it’s hard not to at Partner’s Fish & Grill unless you just wake up with issues everyday.
