Good, casual place to eat, this was our first time. Dedicated parking lot directly across the road (State Street). Great menu, lots of variety, and food was great. It had more dining area than bar, but the bar was nice and cozy. Friendly, older, mixed crowd, well heeled, mostly dining. Service was great, place was clean, older building and furnishings. First time there yesterday day after Christmas for lunch. I've always heard about the pork tenderloin and that's what I had I had a grilled and it was fantastic ? The young lady who was my waitress was very sweet was a pleasure to talk to. Enjoyed my visit on my road trip in from Collinsville. Next time I want to try the pork tenderloin fried. I'll definitely be back ??

Called ahead and took 16 people. They sat us in the front dining room. We were noisy so it was a good place for us so we didn’t bother diners in main dining area. Everything was set up when we arrived. Menus were given to us and I looked it over. There was several good things to pick from. Would I get the catfish and fries?
