The Coffe was very good. Do give yourself plenty of time as they get quite busy and it takes a bit. Also make sure you check the prices as what is listed on. Their display board is not necessarily what you’re going to get charged and the difference can be several dollars.
For one I cannot wait until they open their new location. Every time I go in there the service is excellent. The coffee is excellent. The atmosphere is excellent. I've gotten so many of my co-workers addicted to The brewhouse now. I could not recommend it more. It is hands down the best coffee shop in Alton, Wood River or Godfrey.
I have come twice and really enjoy the coffee. Service is always great, and employees are so friendly. However, the bathroom was horrifying. Loose toilet seat, and I am talking like fall off the toilet loose. Dirt, soot, and debris are all over the floor; it truly looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a year. Dirty bathrooms are a heck no for me, and unfortunately, will keep me from coming back. Also a little disturbing were the cobwebs and dust all around the place, on counters,...
