My wife took me there cause I was born n raised in New Orleans LA just to get a feel and taste of home and I was so disappointed the gator basket was not good hush puppies hard n burnt, gator fried to long tasted rubbery, the red beans was overly spicy I know what Cajun taste like but at the same time a lil rice and heat don’t make a dish, the beignets were airy not 2 had any stuff in the middle the sauce no taste very water down and the cabbage some was crunchy once again spicy we spent 45 to be unhappy don’t get me wrong it’s hot but Louisiana food is more then just heat.

Found this place by sheer luck! Had a taste for some cajun food and it popped up on my Facebook page, made a 40 minute drive, walked in and it smelled great! Wish I could have made it sooner because they were out of gumbo, but, I got the last 2 boudin balls, a jambalaya and a gator po boy with red beans and rice. OMG! Talk about fantastic! Ate the gator without even thinking about it! The jambalaya is so good! And the boudin is good! Now I know why they do them occasionally. What a gem!! I'll be back offshore, c'est bon!!
Excellent food! Had the Crawfish Étouffèe and Pork Jambayala. The strawberry banana cake was also excellent. I will go here as often as I can!
