Just WOW!!! We had the Traditional Gumbo and Pork Jambalaya today. FANTASTIC dishes both!!! We fell in love with the food in N.O. years ago and have been searching in IL for something even close. This place hits!!! 🔥🔥🔥 The pork Jambalaya had a pulled pork that was melt in your mouth, perfectly seasoned goodness. And the gumbo....most of the time, I leave the "gravy" because most times its meh. This one was perfect and had just the right amount of heat. Will definitely be back soon!!!

We bought Gumbo, Jambalaya, Smothered Cabbage, Cornbread and Red Beans and Rice for carry out. The food was ready and hot. My husband and I both enjoyed all of it. Will definitely go again.

Service was great! However, the food was pretty nasty. The gumbo & cornbread had no flavor. The white rice was hard. Crab cakes were oddly fishy.

This is nice little place to grab a quick stomach filler. I was disappointed with the fla or of the seafood gumbo. Small portion for $20 was not worth it. It had a little flavor but not much more spice than anything.

Stumbled across them on tiktok and thought it looked good, so headed over to try them. Tasted even better than it looked! Zenna was super sweet and friendly, felt like I had been there 100x! Food was incredible, had a shrimp po' boy w cornbread and beignets and this place instantly became a favorite. Definitely will be back to try more things!

Absolutely 💯 Amazing food, after being in New Orleans and surrounding areas for 4 months trying as much different resteraunts down there , I can honestly say this place is better than some of the most expensive places and tourist trap restaurants down there hands down!

Ordered it for lunch - looking at the serving size I thought I’d leave some for the better half to try- and it was so good I ate it all!! Alligator Po’Boy - 10/10. Fries - delightfully spicy 10/10. And the best- the banana pudding beignets - 1000000/10. Probably one of the best thins I’ve ever ate. Don’t miss out on this gem!
