Maeva’s has been my daily driver for just over four years now. Their seasonal drink selection is always delicious yet complex. Their house roasted coffee is to die for so pick up a bag for your mornings at home. Their baked goods and soups are delicious and the portions are great for the price. If you’ve never visited this hidden gem, I highly recommend you do it asap!

I wanted a beverage, but wasn't sure what to order. Maeva's helped me find the perfect drink and it was so tasty! Everyone was super friendly and reasonable and I loved the atmosphere. Initially I thought we'd have a quick in-and-out order, but we liked it so much we stayed for an hour or two to chat in Maeva's quirky and inviting space.

This cafe is in an old school. Lounging area inside to the left of the cafe and outside also to the left and the right side of the building! Their chai drink is delicious and they have a different variety of pastries from other cafes I've been to. Definitely will go back!

We visited today for the first time. I had an iced caramel latte, and it was outstanding. Loved loved loved the espresso, smooth and not acidic or bitter. I live in the St. Louis area and I will be coming back to Maeva’s , even though it is a 40 minute drive.

Updated((N/A>>))Needless to say, I had another very bad experience here((<<N/A)) UPDATE: Years passed and I didn't realize the establishment responded. To update, I still go here and can give a better review. Previously, I had taken issue with buckets of water with mosquito larvae and mosquitos swarming horribly on the side patio. I had told a Meava's employee in passing and he had said it wasn't his job in a really off tone. When I went inside was mocked, accusing I had googled what I was saying about mosquitos and why not to do nothing (pro entomologist here, but most people know anyways). It was a treatment equating degrading behavior and it really was foul. Yet, so much has kept people from getting along in recent years, and he was not alone in acting "up." He has since apologized, proved to be a better guy and I have also apologized to him for assuming that was his job when it wasn't. All is well.
My "needless to say" comment was because I had also had an issue or two over time with the previous owners/developers and knew some others had as well, but that is completely unrelated to Meava's and their staff, coffee, or food nor is it even relevant anymore because of new ownership and building management. I apologize for being vague and appreciate the opportunity to clarify. I've updated my star ratings to reflect reality and hope the best for this place.

The best of the best! I was recently on maternity leave and every week I would try a new local place for an iced vanilla latte to find the best one. I went to MULTIPLE places and this was #1. It is the most expensive but it's sooo worth it. I am glad they don't have a drive threw so I can't go as often (I have two kids under two). On my first visit I even left my wallet and they reached out to me on facebook before I even realized it was gone. I always see the same lady and she is so so sweet. This was my fav spot on maternity leave. This was also my only request for mothers day. Support local!
