This is hands-down our favorite place to grab a fabulous hot latte, and they have the best turkey club wraps on the planet! We drive 30 miles to take in the atmosphere and the casual food and beverages!

Very charming cafe that offers a diverse selection of teas, coffees, pastries, and sandwiches. I opted for the Avocado Sammie & seasonal peppermint mocha. Both were beautifully crafted, filling, and delicious. The interior of the cafe really captures the essence of the old post office and has a very welcoming space for working solo or dining with friends. I totally recommend.

Finally visited Post Commons after years of talking about it. Really enjoyed the chorizo breakfast burrito, and the busy atmosphere on a Friday. David and staff have put together something wonderful in Alton.

This place is the hidden gem you’re looking for!! The building is the original Alton Post Office and it is decorated wonderfully. Looks like an amazing place for an event. Love that it pays homage to important people from Alton’s history. It’s an undeniably cool place, even if you’re just stopping in for a quick cuppa.

We went here for a wedding, and it was beautiful in its simplicity. A very historic place. I wish I would have gotten pics.

Love love The Post Commons! Coffee is good. We always get the Bottomless Drip. We have ordered most of the items on the menu and have not found anything we didn't enjoy. The atmosphere is family oriented but the historic building is a plus.

I love this place. I have always enjoyed going for a good cup of tea and the food is great too. The atmosphere is always relaxing and friendly. So I was so excited to learn that they host events when I needed to plan my baby shower. The Haley room is beautiful! Ashley was our event coordinator and she was the best! She was so easy to work with, easy to communicate with, and so accommodating. I appreciate her so much. Ultimately, this location is a prize jewel for Alton.

Post commons is an old post office building, it is spacious. When it's busy it doesn't seem too loud, perfect cafe sound without being overwhelmed for me. The service was great, they were patient while I picked out what I wanted. Drinks and food was delicious!

Coffee was a huge miss! Too bitter for our taste.
