Been eating here for years and years. By far the best Mexican restaurant in the area!! They also did a fantastic job with catering my wedding!! I highly recommend them for a casual lunch or dinner as well as large events where a lot of food is needed. We had 60 people and they served us very generously.
Great food

I worked in Alton, IL for a few years and I ate at Riviera Maya once per week. The food is great and the staff are so very friendly! Everything is great, but we especially love the fajitas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and the hits just keep on comin'! We strongly recommend Riviera Maya in Alton for the best Mexican on the East side of the Mississippi!

WOW Kate was fantastic! Very friendly. Food was very good. This family run Mexican restaurant is truly a gem. We were passing through the area and decided to give this place a try. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely return here again for some delicious Mexican food.

Overall below average quick serve Mexican. Somehow manage to get chorizo and chicken covered in queso to be bland.

I complain about everything. especially restaurants, but this place rocks. Great food and lots of it at a reasonable price. And I like the guy who runs it. Everything about it is AOK.

So I come here a lot but recently things have went downhill. My server literally threw my menu at me. We were definitely an inconvenience to this guy! Stay away!!!

Refried beans were soupy, rice was bland, taco shells were oily from the deep frier.
Delicious food and great service. Their Pollo Cancun is the best mexican-themed dish I have had in Saint Louis to date!! It was so good I had to try and figure out how to make it at home. Friendly service and clean and cute restaurant, too.
Beans smelled funny
The food was decent Mexican, but blander than I expected. Definitely not authentic. Very loud environment on the regular, the service was good, very minimal. And very sweet when I was heading out
Great food great atmosphere
