I love Sammi's! Fantastic, ever-changing menu. I'm a creature of habit and always get the chicken, bacon, ranch salad but everything there is great! Amazing, homemade sauce, excellent portions and always the freshest lettuce around! Not to mention the passion the owner has for supporting other local businesses, seriously impressive!

Hard to believe because we have no excuse for trying this for the first time yesterday and it’s so close to home… Delicious! These types of old school, nothing fancy but the amazing food are what make small towns like Alton part of a larger conversation! Of note there were 5 local law enforcement officers getting their lunch and one of the regulars seated said ‘you’re back again today?!’ Anytime you have a following like that, it speaks for itself. There were all ages and genders coming and going. Staff was spot on! This is a successful business model, Alton- take note! Rusty Voumard, Rueben and the Watermelon salad!

My husband asked for a 3rd sauce cup- and offered to pay as it’s homemade and delicious. the owner replied “really dude”?…(we asked for no sauce on the sandwich as we’d be traveling with it)
