Every sandwich or salad I’ve had here is huge and delicious! Made right in front of you with fresh ingredients. You can tell the employees care about the customers and are always friendly. Today I had the turkey sandwich but the picture doesn’t do it justice, I was only able to eat half the sandwich. There are daily specials. You won’t be disappointed!

The special today- pesto, turkey, mozzarella sandwich was fantastic. The pesto was fresh and so delicious. The sandwich was toasted to melt the mozzarella perfectly. Very good!

The staff is great and you’ll will not leave hungry with the way they pile the meat on their sandwiches. There is NO CUTTING CORNERS at Sammi’s. Scott Yarbrough, owner of Sammy sandwiches, is also one of the best corporate citizens that the Riverbend has and it has many. I love Sammi's! Fantastic, ever-changing menu. I'm a creature of habit and always get the chicken, bacon, ranch salad but everything there is great! Amazing, homemade sauce, excellent portions and always the freshest lettuce around! Not to mention the passion the owner has for supporting other local businesses, seriously impressive!

Hard to believe because we have no excuse for trying this for the first time yesterday and it’s so close to home… Delicious! These types of old school, nothing fancy but the amazing food are what make small towns like Alton part of a larger conversation! Of note there were 5 local law enforcement officers getting their lunch and one of the regulars seated said ‘you’re back again today?!’ Anytime you have a following like that, it speaks for itself. There were all ages and genders coming and going. Staff was spot on! This is a successful business model, Alton- take note! Rusty Voumard, Rueben and the Watermelon salad!
