The food was great as always....will pay for it later, but it's worth it, lol...staff wasn't feeling it, but hey, it be like that sometimes. Same old white castle bleak barren dining area....during the summer when it's been a dry dusty week and the wind is gusting just right....I believe you'll see a tumble weed lol.....maybe a tumble weave since we are tum-bout(talking about) Alton after all lbvs

I don’t dine in and I normally just get the onion rigs and fish nuggets and I’m never disappointed.

Parking: Open parking, ours is extended to another large parking area.

Kid-friendliness: Family style restaurant setting.

I've been eating White Castles ? just about all my life. I grew up on them. Then I moved away in 1989 but, visits every year. The only thing I don't like about the change at White Castle, are the cheese fries. Back in the day, they use to melt a slice of real cheese on your fries but, now they pour that liquid cheese on them. So I haven't ordered cheese fries in years. But, White Castle ? is still my go-to spot when I'm in St Louis or Alton. ????
