The Italian beef was very good. A generous beef portion, the peppers added a nice touch, and even though I forgot to ask for it dipped, the sandwich still had good moisture and wasn’t dry. The sandwich had good flavor and felt like a little taste of where I grew up in the Chicago suburbs. Will definitely be back!

Kid-friendliness: I took my family here this summer after a swim meet and we had eight kids with us and the food was great! The kids had a very fun time. They enjoyed their food and played the games there and even won a stuffed animal. Mr. Sincini came out and greeted everyone and was extremely kind. The kids and the adults had a great day there! We were lucky enough to sit with the owner, and he told us that it was his birthday!!? ? ...while we were enjoying a Philly Cheesesteak, he talked with us about all the food entrées and how they're made & tasted. We wanted to eat them all!! If you're after the small Mom n Pop restaurant, this is it! Sit in the back bar area. It's like you came home. As we were leaving, the Owner gave us a boxed piece of Chocolate Cake, that was made there. ? Thank you for a lovely evening, Dorothea & Steven

This place is the real deal Chicago type restaurant and bar. My wife and I visited yesterday and was very impressed. We felt like we was in Chicago at a bar and restaurant. The food is by far as authentic as we have found in Southern Illinois. Everything we had was very good. They have a huge selection of the type of food a individual would expect in a place like this in Chicago. Very clean, there is a bar section, a sit down dining area, and a pool room. The owner is very friendly and definitely knows what he's doing. Top notch for this type of place. We were very surprised, and both of us have plenty of experience in these type of establishments in Chicago and the surrounding areas. Highly suggested and we will definitely be back more than once.
