My dinner was amazing!! The chicken pot pie was piping hot and the crust was so flaky and delicious. The sides were so fresh and the green beans tasted just like my granny’s used to🥲 The house dressing is unique and yummy and the pineapple cake was like heaven. 10/10 will definitely be returning! Thank you!!
This cute little restaurant is such a gem! The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of charm—perfect for a relaxed lunch or a quick bite. I ordered the salad, and it was absolutely delicious. You can tell they put real care into their food.
If you’re looking for a sweet spot with amazing food—you definitely need to stop here. I’ll be back for sure! 🥗💛

The Kitchen on Lafayette serves up the best home-style food in the area, made with care and love, and seasoned to perfection. Everything is homemade, from scratch, and the service is amazing, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Hand-crafted dishes like the Chicken Alfredo and the Valentine's Day special are highlights, earning high recommendations. Guests can enjoy a beautiful salad with lots of vegetables and homemade vinaigrette, along with tender, tasty carrots and a generous portion of pot roast. The desserts, including the divine German chocolate cake, are unforgettable, reminiscent of a Sunday dinner at Grandma's house. The lovely antiques add to the unbelievable atmosphere. The Kitchen offers dine-in and cart-out options, and they cater too, making it an experience that guests will never forget.
