This was my favorite Mexican restaurant. I have called multiple times during business hours with no answer and gone to the door multiple times during business hours to find that they are closed. Great food, service, and atmosphere, but it seems to me now that they are not in business. I hope I am wrong. Writing this review only to prevent someone from being disappointed after choosing to dine here and find it being closed. If they reopen I will remove this review. Thank you

YAY!! I finally found an awesome Mexican restaurant with friendly staff, the owner Michelle was very friendly!!! The food is delicious. I ordered a steak torta and the minute I bit into my torta I knew this was authentic Mexican food just like the city where I grew up. I’m very happy that Antioch has a friendly neighborhood Mexican restaurant. I will make sure all my colleagues at work stop by for lunch!! Amazing job Casa Ruiz!!

I was completely satisfied and amazed with the food and service!! sorry to the other “ mexican” restaurants in the area but, i was very satisfied!! i actually saw the server michelle, give a customer a coozie for his beer!! and a hat for free!! that’s cool!!! i sometimes get a sour stomach with mexican food but honestly, not from here! i really like casa ruiz! i hope the owner reads these reviews, cause they are doing a fantastic job!! hope they stay in antioch!!! thank you guys!

My fiancé took me to Casa Ruiz for Mother’s Day dinner. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with warming hospitality and kindness. Our server Michelle was prompt, courteous, and tentative. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. Perfect portion size, this is THE authentic restaurant that Antioch has brought into this town!!!! It’s Amazing the restaurant is raffling a Michael Kors purse for Mother’s Day!! Very gracious for Casa Ruiz for doing that. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for authentic Mexican food!! ??

Came here Mother’s Day for the buffet. Everything was amazing! The service was the best, very attentive. The food was so good and our table tried everything they had available for the buffet and they were all great! The tinga was our favorite! We will definitely be back ❤️

Wanted some rice and beans to complete a taco dinner for the evening. They were quick to produce them to go. Price was high for the quantity of beans and rice received. I feel they saw that I was in a pinch and decided to gouge me for it. A side of beans and rice to go should be less than $10.
