The food was terrible and amazingly the service was worse than the food. Yuck… never again!

My husband and I had grannies for breakfast this morning. It was our first time there and we had an amazing breakfast, but I have to tell you the staff is the best. I’ve seen in a long time.. we sat at the first three tables to the right as you enter Granny’s. I’m not sure of what waitresses name was, but she was so attentive and well spoken and very articulate to her craft. I was a server for a long time and as I say craft anyone in the industry knows, we have a way that we present ourselves and the service we provide to our guest. She’s got the special sauce. She’s amazing and I hope that the owners know what they have there.

Service was very slow, the waitress would never check on our table, but I saw them checking in on others. Food took a long time too. My order of sausages was forgotten, and brought out after my meal was already done. I took them home, and noticed they were not even cool properly. Getting refills for coffee or water was a hassle as well. Spent an hour and a half here, would not recommend.

I ordered a pork chop sandwich and I got barbecue pork. They took the order wrong. They gave me the wrong order. I would not recommend this place to anybody they're very rude people they hang up on you. I did not yell or threaten anybody. You wanted me to come all the way back from McHenry. When you could have just gave me a refund on the phone. Your employees are the ones that are very rude. The first time I called, they said it was a scam And hung up on me. I could not even eat the sandwich. It was so disgusting. I threw it in the garbage.

If you want a good breakfast at a reasonable price Granny’s en Richmond very nice people all the waitresses are friendly. The owner Lee is a really nice guy. Lunch is good too. If you haven’t tried it you gotta go there and check it out for yourselves.

I stopped at this place on my way to Wisconsin for my first time. I waited quite some time to get a waitress to come to my table and got a girl who had no clue what she was doing .i Ordered the eggs Benedict and it was disgusting watered down Hollandaise sauce and eggs that were overcooked like hard boiled eggs and over cooked Burnt potatoes. When I complained to the waitress, she got angry with me and stated that her boyfriend was the cook and told me maybe I should go elsewhere. when I asked her to speak to the manager, she stated she was the manager. Unbelievable. if she’s the manager and that’s how you run a restaurant you will be out of buisness in no time .And I did not eat the food and took her advice and went to an another restaurant .waste of time and money .This place is a joke. Food is horrible. Service is worse.. I will never step foot in there again..

Tried this restaurant for the first time just on Sunday BIG MISTAKE! My server amber was rude and reeked like a bar also had a long sleeve shirt on with visable track marks she brought my food out and had her finger in my food I said something and she argued with me I didn’t even end up eating most of it , the food was cold and nasty then you could hear the owner in the back screaming this place looks poorly ran stay far away from here . Also when sat the table was dirty and I said something 3 times until someone came and cleaned it

Great breakfast, never had a bad meal or experience. It is one of those places if u go a few times, everyone will know your name. Staff is so very friendly. They know my order by heart and you always leave with a smile.

Pancake house diner. Had the eggs Benedict and Rueben sandwich. Both were absolutely horrible. The hash browns were decent but the eggs were not poached and the hollandaise sauce was really bad. Tried to send it back for refund but the chef /owner demanded 1/2 payment. Would suggest dennys next time .
