Stellar food and staff. Our server, Desiree was absolutely on top of everything and super sweet. Stephanie made us feel like family. The food was unreal - fish fry, patty melt, steak and frites - unreal! Our new favorite spot! Brought the wild kids with and they were so kind to them. What a special place! Wauconda needs a Kraby Js!

absolutely love Krabby J’s! i walked in on a week day around 4pm and was greeted by steve immediately. asked him for a mai tai and he politely said no. LOL. instead, he made me a perfect captain and coke. i had a little guidance on the menu by him as well and went with the surf and turf app, and the fish fry dinner. both were absolutely INCREDIBLE! as for the surf and turf, it was creamy, full of shrimp and steak bites, and spinach and cherry tomatoes. the fish fry had some fried shrimp, and three big ol fish strips. the fish was melt in your mouth! not to mention even the fries were bomb!
on another visit (promptly 4 days later cus i was craving it) i again got the surf and turf app along with their prime rib (fri and sat only). the prime rib was MASSIVE! well worth it for waiting all week for a nice steak! i wish i took a picture but i was starving. the steak again was melt in your mouth and came with mashed potatoes and i believe roasted carrots.
everything ive tried here so far, has just been incredible. Krabby’s is a delight in such a small town. Thanks all!

This is such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff are attentive and personable. The food is consistently delicious. The craft cocktails - I haven’t had a bad one yet, and I have tried several of them. You won’t be disappointed when you go here!

Really, really good food! I love the smashburger, the wings and their homemade croutons and dressings. Great atmosphere and great service, the ownership truly cares and it shows!
Service was very sub par. Server was an infrequent visitor to the table. Drink order was late. Had to go to bar to request salt and pepper for our table as our server was non existent. Worst yet was the way he snatched the carafe of water from the table when we asked for the check.
There are certain minimum standards for wait service. Sadly they were not met.
