Amazing food and service. Busy Sunday afternoon, but they were accommodating and had fantastic service. Their homemade ranch, is incredible along with their other homemade foods.

I had a very bad experience today at this place “Kraby’s J’s in Antioch, Il. The service was the worsed that I have ever experienced. I was totally shocked and in disbelief that this place can treat customers so poorly and disrespectful n feel unwanted. I’m not one to write good or bad reviews but this one right here was so bad that I needed to put it out there. I’m not from the area, but my best friend is new to the area. It was her idea to go there. On our way there all she did was brag of how nice this place is, and I would just love it she bragged. She was there for the first time few days prior with another friend, they had a drinks and ordered food, she said she spent over $100 that night. This evening when we got there we sat outside and ordered a drink for each one of us, our intentions were to just have one drink outside and enjoy it sitting outside with the beautiful weather we had that evening, which was just beautiful. After being there for 30 minutes, the waitress which I believe is the owner’s mother came out and asked if we needed a menu or if we were going to order food, we said no we r just there to have one drink and leave, she than said, well this table, “meaning the table in which we were sitting” is for people who r ordering food, and if someone comes in to order food, we would have to move. Just so you know there was another table that was completely empty, so for that waitress to rudely say that to us was so NOT professional and un called for, and made us feel like we weren’t welcome. Not to mentioned, we ordered one drink for each os us and left a $9 tip for 2 drinks. Just unbelievable. When my friend went inside to talk to the owner, the owner said that is his mother and we had to leave. We got up and left, no scene made, but left feeling like, wow what just happened here. I really felt bad for my friend because she had felt bad for me that she brought me to this place thinking I would love it, which I did at first, the weather was just beautiful and perfect to have and enjoy a drink. But to get kicked out, just mind blowing. So bottom line is, in order to enjoy a drink outside you have to order food too or your out of there. Case closed. They should put that on there website so people will know before they go there.the worsed service ever, Never EVER go there again. 🤦🏼♀️

Do not go to this restaurant/Bar unless you plan on sitting inside at the bar so they can have empty tables outside available for potential dinner customers only! Shitty way to treat people. Never had an owner of a lakefront bar, tell you to leave because you didn't order food, only drinks at $10 each. Spent $30 for 2 drinks and a tip and got told to leave or go inside.... Rude!

Every bite reflects the passion and care that owner Kyle pours into the menu. This was our first visit and we were blown away by the quality, hospitality, and inviting atmosphere. Discovering that Kraby J’s offers weekend brunch was the cherry on top - we will be back soon!

This place is awesome yet tucked away.. down the channel from blarneys the food is awesome and the drinks and specials are awemone. Sweet chili pizza(half off on Thurs) was awesome
Service was terrible. After taking our order, the waiter ignored us for 50min . He forgot to bring my daughter her soft drink. Our food arrived after 55 minutes, while others, who arrived 20 min after us were served theirs. The waiter would check on 3 other tables which had mixed company. I feel we were ignored because our table was two females. Food was so-so. Table next to us; six people- three men got their food first, then ladies with one exception- she received her food long after everyone else was done . She ordered a cedar wrap. How difficult is that. Definitely not going back and do not recommend.

When we saw this name, crabby, Jay’s, we thought wow they have seafood. Not really The only crabby thing we saw there was an old guy walking around, wishing that nobody was there and treating everybody with disrespect we learned that that was the owner‘s father. I will never go back there to be treated like this again not to mention the food wasn’t very good either buyer beware

It's great food, huge portions! Sitting out on the deck on the water is a great atmosphere. Apparently it's dog friendly on the deck, as a well mannered large dog was laying next to it's owners one table away.

Just visited Krabby J's for the first time and was thoroughly impressed by the food, drinks, and service. The food was the best I've had on the Chain in a long time. They also have great daily specials. Couldn't have been more pleased to find our new favorite spot.
