I went in today to pick up a small yellow celebration cake. I’m used to seeing them decorated with sprinkles so I did not see any in the cooler or at the counter. Fortunately I did get helped by a nice woman and we found one in the cooler with flowers. The only complaint I have is the price. No 6” cake should cost 33.00!

I cannot say enough good things about this bakery. We have used them for many events and I love being able to actually head into the shop! The kids love going in and picking out a sweet treat! They had some great selections for Valentine's Day and the chocolate covered strawberries were to die for! 😍 Everything there is so delicious and they never disappoint. The staff is always helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend for special dates as well we've ordered several cakes for birthdays and they're awesome.

This places customer service has severely declined. I stood waiting to be helped for 10 minutes while multiple employees were standing around not helping, during the busy lunch hour rush. Finally gave up and left without purchasing anything. Their prices have skyrocketed yet the quality has dropped. Very disappointed as this use to be a staple and sought after bakery in this community

I have never experienced such terrible customer service before! Especially at a bakery on Christmas Eve. Do NOT order custom cakes from them. I will never go back for a birthday cake ever again. Ordering a Christmas themed birthday cake with red and green letters does not mean red and green on top of each other letters to look brown!! Even a jewel osco baker would know that means mix match red letters on some of it and green letters on the other part. I asked to speak to a manager for what they could do for this and all she kept saying was I’m sorry you feel that way here’s your cake and kept pushing it towards me to take…. Excuse me your own worker said it looked brown! It’s not how I feel it’s how it looks. As someone who’s been a manager of a store before I would never be rude to someone let alone not offer a way to make it right with them. I am so upset my so called Christmas themed birthday cakes has brown happy birthday letters and I was forced to walked away with a $60 custom cake I spent 10 minutes designing with them that does not look anyway how it was suppose to. I am going to jewel osco from now on because I at least know they are not incompetent and they have better customer service then this Lovin Oven.

I have so many wonderful things to say about Lovin Oven Cakery. From their professionalism in answering all of our questions to their ability to work within our budget, they were absolutely fantastic. Stephanie created a fun atmosphere while we were selecting flavors and styles. It’s truly a positive memory that my husband and I will cherish forever. And I can’t forget to mention how delicious the cake was! It was moist, and the flavors were fresh and delightful. You will not be disappointed if you hire them.

Stepping into Lovin Oven is like walking into a wonderland of treats! With its adorable atmosphere and seasonal decorations, this place knows how to set a cozy, festive vibe. And oh, the selection—imagine cases for miles, packed with everything from donuts and danishes to tortes, fresh breads, and cookies galore! They even have a frozen cake section, wedding cakes, and cold salads, too! We stopped in for breakfast and tried the Monte Cristo and the spinach and feta quiche. While they were okay, we did wonder if some items might be pre-frozen, as there's not much flexibility with customizing orders. But the real stars were the sweet treats! Highly recommend the apricot danish and the buttercream-filled long john—absolute heaven. Bottom line: We’ll definitely be back but next time, we'll skip the cafe and head straight for the confections! This bakery’s goodies are worth every single bite!

This bakery is Way Overrated. Update 10/2024 the sizes of their pastries have significantly decreased and the prices went up. I won't even stop there for a treat anymore. It's simply not worth the money. Furthermore they change their recipes & don't let you know. Example: the banana cream pie used to have a good thick crust until they changed it to some sort of cookie crust? I can get that anywhere. They are Always out of cheese sticks when we go- if something is such a hot seller, WHY are they not making more? A lot of their refrigerated items are pre-made & frozen before going on the shelf. 2 stars Only because the girls at the counter are always very nice otherwise it'd be 1.

I’ve been in Lovin Oven twice in the past three weeks, on a Saturday, shortly after noon. Each time I visited, there was only one employee waiting on customers and checking them out. Needless to say, there were quite a few people waiting to be helped. The first time I was there, I waited almost 10 minutes to be helped. The second time I was there, an employee came out of the back room and I asked if there was anybody else that could help out and she just gave a firm no. Although I think their products are delicious, and the atmosphere is very nice, I won’t be back because my time is as valuable as theirs.
