Not authentic Mexican. The food was bland and uninspired. I'd hoped for something that was flavorful and spiced with real Mexican flair but sadly it was about Taco Bell quality. There are a lot better places to go. The restaurant is nice but the service was very poor. Water please, oh forget it, I'll get a drink wen I get home.

We’ve been enjoying Taco Tuesday at Mexican Paradise for the past few weeks, and every visit has been nothing short of fantastic. Brian, the owner, personally delivers food to tables and makes it a point to give every kid a high five and a ring pop before they leave. He and his wife are constantly moving through the restaurant, making sure every table is well taken care of while also connecting with their guests.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick, and the food is always delicious with just the right portion sizes.
Tonight, I noticed Brian taking the time to hold the door for an elderly woman and even walking her to her car to ensure she got there safely. Our waitress then informed us he does this every single night for his whole staff. 🥹

We absolutely love Mexican Paradise cafe! Brian and Lisa have created such a great atmosphere; you feel like you’re family coming here! The food every time is phenomenal! I personally enjoy the shrimp diablo (extra spicy) and my husband won’t go anywhere else for a chorizo burrito! Our favorite Mexican food in the area! Definitely recommend

I have a lot of dietary food restrictions and Brian, chef/owner of the restaurant, took the time to come out of the kitchen and make sure my restrictions were handled perfectly. I really enjoyed my meal, the attention to detail, and the atmosphere.

I had the 3 taco dinner with ground beef on soft corn tortillas, I have never had a taco so bland. The beans were bland as was the rice. It was awful.
Still at your front desk for over a minute and nobody comes out to help. What a waste of my time.. looks like I'll go to Fox lake El Porto's

Food was mid!!! I got 2 burritos suizo al pastor and the gave my 2 regular burritos so I paid extra for nothing and idk why but the burrito was sweet which I’ve never had in my life. I also got a al pastor torta and I’m not going to lie that was fire ?. Now the last thing that really threw me off was the salsa both the verde and rojo salsa was literally water ? literally zero flavor from the salsa idk if they were running low and thought they could thin it out but definitely a no go. I give this a 2 because the burrito was a big portion and since I had my own salsa I could combat the sweetness and the torta was ⛽️ but the rest I wasn’t happy with

The staff were amazing! The atmosphere was great! The food was fabulous! We lost a dear friend/ family member and this family owned restaurant came through!! They provided the entire restaurant, wonderful service and delicious food at an amazing military rate!!! We are so very grateful and thankful for all you have done for the local military and the Williams family!
