We were Just at Z's for Lunch .. We've been there before and We Love it !! We came from our house in Des Plaines just to get their Dogs & Fries.. I personally think they are so much better and much more reasonable than Portillo's... And The Customer service from the order takers and everyone working there is above and beyond any hot dog place.. Thank You Z's.!!❤️

Awesome road side hot dog stand. Best fries in lake county. Food was fast, hot and delicious. Chicago style toppings were fresh and on point. Can’t beat the two dogs, fries and a Coke meal. Looking forward to eating here again!

A true Chicago hot Dog with a poppy seed bun. The best! Very good hot dogs and friendly people serving you.
My son and I stopped in for the first time and I have to say the food was amazing. I had a single dog Chicago style and my son ordered a chili cheese dog with onions, he said the onion really brought out the flavor. We will definitely be returning to try some of their other food. I give Z's Char Dogs a 10 out of 10!
