The Cove Lakeside Restaurant

It isn't fair to read any reviews prior to May 1st of this year. New owners and new menu. What remains the same is the beautiful location on Apple Canyon Lake. The menu is varied and there are lots of options that didn't come out of the deep fryer. I had the steak burrito bowl and my husband had the chicken tenders with a side of coleslaw. I haven't been to the Cove for a decade. It was beautiful inside and we enjoyed watching boaters going by while we ate. Since it was close to opening there were few customers. Our waitress was wonderful and the manager/cook came out to see how we were doing. There were a few hiccups, but they just opened and had all new staff. The food was delicious, portion size almost too much and price comparable to other restaurants in the area.

My husband and I had lunch at The Cove on 5/1/24 (Opening day with new owners) and everything was awesome! We got seated promptly, we received our beverages quickly, and the food was excellent. I had the special which was a grilled chicken fettuccini with a salad & my husband had the philly steak & cheese sandwich - both were delicious!
