Went up to listen to the band tonight. The band was great. The bar is too small for a band, though. Chairs are all barstools and they’re all worn out. Very uncomfortable. Staff was friendly but no food aside from mediocre pizza and soft pretzels. I look forward to hearing the band again in a different venue. The bar needs work, though.

I’ve been friends with the owners far before Bargenta became the most fun & affordable location for miles & miles given it’s location. However, If you suffer from Anxiety? ? This should help. Because it’s the most friendly & Helpful Bar you’ll ever walk in to. If you want to talk to a stranger, No problem.. if you just need a drink & want to be left alone? No Problem.. you won’t be bothered unless you owe me money. Then imma probably bother you ?? But really though it’s a beautiful bar, With an awesome beer garden out back. I really enjoy this location when I’m in the area hands down! ❤️.. PS If Taylor is working ? Brace yourself she is definitely eye candy regardless your preference both genders attractive to a woman this beautiful ? Don’t say I ain’t warn ya ?.

My husband left our card at the bar. I work at Sam's and they shop alot there and she ( one of the owners ) brought my card to me ( we don't live in Argenta ) that's Above and beyond!!

We attended Music Bingo to support the Macon County Young Leaders Night to help fundraise for scholarships they give out and it is wonderful that Bargenta allows them to participate and take home some proceeds of the evening! The pizza was amazing and Sammy the bartender was phenomenal making drinks! I am rather picky but he makes an awesome Kentucky Mule and I was impressed to watch him serve people that walked in the door not asking what they wanted... but knowing what they wanted! Someone told me that he has earned a couple of awards for being a great bartender and I can see why! There was free popcorn and pizza & pretzels to purchase as well ... I just wish there was a bit more of a food menu. Overall we had a great time! I also love love all of the Chicago Cubs paraphernalia!
