“We are from out of town and we just stop there to get some ice cream and it was the best ice cream we ever had in our lives and they had these Lotus energy drinks I got the Jolly Rancher and I don't like club soda so you accommodated it with some lemon lime soda and only tell you why it was the best thing I have ever had in my life so if you just running through town or you just want to stop by an ice cream place or even if you're close go by because you will not be disappointed”

“I’ve been friends with the owners far before Bargenta became the most fun & affordable location for miles & miles given it’s location. However, If you suffer from Anxiety? ? This should help. Because it’s the most friendly & Helpful Bar you’ll ever walk in to. If you want to talk to a stranger, No problem.. if you just need a drink & want to be left alone? No Problem.. you won’t be bothered unless you owe me money. Then imma probably bother you ?? But really though it’s a beautiful bar, With an awesome beer garden out back. I really enjoy this location when I’m in the area hands down! ❤️.. PS If Taylor is working ? “We bought the RoadHouse Bowl and The Alfredo Pasta Bowl and it was honestly the best place I've been to in a long time. We came here by accident, this was a last minute choice and I am so glad our first one fell through. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and kind. It's been a long time since I've seen such GENUINE customer service. It's a fast food under rated atmosphere, with the food quality close to fine dining. The food came out in less than five minutes. We will definitely be coming back, even though we live forty miles away I will not hesitate to pass up a chance to come dine here again. Wow!”

“Love the food, service is excellent and the people are friendly. One thing puzzles me though. Both the Mid Week special and the Family Feast have the same base: Spaghetti, Torpedo and Garlic bread. The Mid Week special comes with Cinnamon Bread which is free, so you're just paying for the base. The Family Feast comes with a quart of soda which is not indicated as free, so you're paying for the base plus the soda. Why does the Mid Week special cost more?”

“I love Coffee Connection! I don't drink coffee but I LOVE their Iced Vanilla Chai Tea. It's the best I have ever had anywhere and I have tried a ton! The employees are always bright and cheery and that's been the case every trip for the last 13+ years. I used to live across the street and I visited often back then. We moved about 10 years ago and now whenever I'm in the area I have to stop for a tea. Today was one of those days and the tea was the perfect like always! Thank you Coffee Connection!”

“I'm a truck driver and had to make a stop at Walmart, which is in the same plaza. Saw the restaurant lights from across the parking lot. They had a good amount of cars parked in front for it to be the middle of the week. Decided to walk over, and as soon as I walked in, someone greeted me at the door. The inside decor looked very authentic and the people inside looked like they were enjoying themselves. I was seated immediately and the waiter came right over to take my order. The food was very good and filling. I had to take a to-go plate.”

“In a city not known for culinary excellence, the Gin Mill is the exception. Had a delightful pork chop dinner recently. The decor with its high ceilings and beautiful bar is way above average. Slight complaint was caesar salad dressing was rather excessive and mediocre. Service was attentive, perhaps a little too much so. Given the local alternatives, I would go back in a minute.”

“We took our daughter and grandson here a couple weeks ago for an early dinner and our server was amazing and very friendly. My daughter and I both had the taco salad that was on special and it was so big we could have shared one and still had left overs. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and white gravy. The tenderloin was as large as the plate. The gravy however was not a white gravy but instead sausage gravy. I’m not a chef but I do know the difference between white gravy and sausage gravy. Who wants sausage in their mashed potatoes that’s served with pork tenderloin? Lol.They have their regulars who sit either at the counter or share a large table and I’m sure talk for a hour or so daily, that tells me the rest of the food must be decent. I was not impressed with paying almost $60 for three adult meals and a child’s meal but nowadays it’s to be expected I guess.If you haven’t tried them I suggest you go and see what you think. Very clean tables and floors.Parking: Handicap parking available and plenty of other spotsKid-friendliness: Nice child menu selection, high chairs available if needed, lids for drinks when requested.”

“I can't rate the food because we did not eat, but the beer was decent and the bartender was friendly! It was not busy during the Saturday afternoon we visited, but it looked like they were having a band or something later. We went to Decatur specifically to go to 3 breweries, Golden Fox had the best beer of the 3.”
