“Food was delicious. It was rather chilly. The heat could have been higher. Hard to enjoy food when your cold. Really don't like having to wear my coat when eating. Otherwise friendly and great place to eat for small town.”
“Had a good time music was playing, played some slots and the bartender was polite and having a good night too...I will be back. They did a great job redecorating and expanding the whole bar!?⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐?⭐⭐⭐????? ??”
“We visited this location on 02/10/22 to celebrate a small birthday dinner. The dinning area was a bit dirty based on the time we visited, but our dinner was good and the staff was friendly enough.Atmosphere: smaller “whole in the wall” type of place with teenagers or young adults workersMust haves: breadsticks with the mozzarella cheese on top and garlic butterPrice: seems much higher than I recall paying a couple months back, but it is still probably the cheapest of any other pizza place”
“Didnt i just eat BBQ yesterday? ..Well...that was brisket. This meal was all about the pulled pork fries at FieldHouse 219 .My ever-faithful bartender Ben always hooks me up with what i believe to be a combination of their Bases Loaded fries, and their Pulled Pork fries menu items..Seasoned fries withQueso, bacon, and green onion (the Bases Loaded), with Pulled pork over the top of that! OMD i am gonna niss this place! That's right.... Fieldhouse219 has lost their lease and will be closing this business in May 2024. Until then, they seem to be operating expanded hours and doing ALL the fun activities that the folks of Monticello and surrounding area have come to enjoy these past eight years. We are gonna miss this crew, but ..since we cant change it...lets just celebrate the journey.Cmon out these next couple months and support Michelle, Ben, Johnny, and the rest of the awesome Fieldhouse219 staff as they prepare to move on to their next adventures.Thank you.... We sure enjoyed the ride!..and there is lots more trivia, live music, and celebrations of sports in the weeks ahead! Lets help Fieldhouse go out qith a bang !...and pay with cash when you can.... :)”
“A nice coffee place which has a cool feel to it. Lots of options to choose from. The biscotti is the best food there, especially if paired correctly with the coffee choices. There are quite a few Abraham Lincoln historical locations nearby. The service is usually a bit sad and so I would not come alone. It is not degrading or anything, there just seems to be a depressive attitude among the servers. This is overlooked by the place's atmosphere and generally good coffee/pastries though.”
“I live on the east coast and have had Italian food in Boston, New York City pizza, had lobster up the coast of Maine. Traveled down to the Caribbean and Florida keys and ate seafood. Every time I come home to Monticello I go home to the grail called Casa Real. The food is always amazing. The staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever been served from. This place is a gem and will forever hold a place down in my heart.”
“The cakes, pies and brownies by Inge are fantastic! We picked up slices of vanilla cake, snickerdoodle cake, and chocolate brownies to go. Each one of these treats were truly delicious. Inga's desserts are sold through the Brown Bag Cafe on West Washington Street. Very reasonable prices considering the very high quality of Inge's products.”
“First time here! Absolutely loved it!!! Had the 1/2 pound fire burger, my husband had the Cob burger! Both were fantastic! Food came out quick and hot and the beers were delicious and ice cold!!!”
“Bridget's Blarney Stone is a gem of a place. We were there on Friday for lunch and had the fish sandwich. It was light and delicious with a breading that had a tiny bit of zing. We look forward to heading back and trying other items on their menu. It was clean, friendly, prompt, and had good food. What more could you want?”
“It was oncemy watering holebut since this super deadly all consuming worldwide pandemic it hasn't been the same,no draft beer but also no mask, might be better if they let us smoke ,why not we're all doomed”
“My son and I were passing through while doing an animal shelter transport. What a great find! Had a full order of biscuits and gravy and coffee they were GREAT! Waitress was very friendly. The both of us left full for less than $20.00!”
“My boyfriend and I went in the for the cinnamon roll and a chocolate chip scone. They were amazing! We don’t drink coffee, but there was a great selection of non-coffee drinks to choose from. We both with went the Lotus Santa Spritzer. It was a great choice and we will be back to try other flavors. So glad to have this breakfast option in town!”
“A very popular place in Monticello. They have a wide variety of menu, I always get the sandwich special. Wonderful baked goods. Place your order at the counter, pick it up when called. The building is very old but they are updating everything and it is much brighter. One of my favorites places.”
“Had a great meal, service was fantastic. The last few times I ended up in the same server, Katryna's section. She was accommodating, and provided very kind and timely service. Will definitely continue to come back.”
“Good food, full bar. The pictures do not do it justice. Its in an old church. Beautiful wood, windows, ceiling goes on forever, lots of air, perfect for these trying times. The more notice you give a locally owned place the better your experience will be. Call ahead and preorder, so they have a heads up.”
“Order from this store when I'm on my way home from work and it's always great. We got the wrong order recently and management went above and beyond to correct it. Really great gluten free pizza too!”
“This is the 1st time in over 15 yrs. That I have been to Filippo's it has changed in that time the pizza crust wasn't nearly as good, it had to much sauce, and why they would put most of the toppings in a line threw the middle of the pizza I have no clue. The pizzas have gotten smaller but the price has went up. Which everyone I know has been saying for years.”
“The food is always good and the service is fast and friendly! Love the outdoor seating in summer. My nephew from Chicago said it was the best Mexican food he’d ever had!”
“I go to Dairy Queen like every week I love that they change there blizzard every month and the workers were very nice to me.Kid-friendliness: When I started ordering all the worker were making mine ice cream right when they put the order in.”
“Stopped in right as they opened. Service was excellent and welcoming. Delivery was FAST. Food was Delicious with HUGE portions. Price was adorable. Don't pass them up!”
“We don’t order monicals a lot only because there are cheaper pizza options in Monticello. That being said, we really do enjoy their family pleaser. I always get it with bread sticks with cheddar cheese. Also, we LOVE their tangy French dressing. I basically could drink it. ”
“Nice atmosphere in this Irish pub and restaurant. I had fish and chips and my son gad a hamburger. The malt vinegar tasted like it had been watered down which really disappointed me.”
“Typical small-town American diner vibe, but if your go-to choice is the breakfast menu like mine is, try the Chef's skillet and add gravy. You won't be disappointed. The bacon is really the exceptional part, it's "meaty" and plentiful.”
“I like to order again best sandwich ever. Especially I have best sandwich maker rocky in Monticello subway. I want to go and tip him more next time he had good understanding with me.Vegetarian options: All veggies are best one to pick.Parking: 10 I think.Kid-friendliness: I have five kids and they took care of everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Best is customer experiences.”
“Went in with a soccer team. The staff did excellent with us, the food was hot and out in a timely manner. The manager was awesome and even checked on us to make sure everything was good. We will definitely visit them again.”
“The food and service is always very good. Their Reuben sandwiches are delicious, and I also just recently discovered their stuffed mushrooms. Oh my goodness are they ever yummy!!One of my friends got their Italian roast beef with the dipping broth and said it was amazing. Also on I think it's Wednesdays, they have homemade cinnamon rolls. I got one of those a while back and it was pretty good too.”
