This restaurant is very family friendly. They welcome you when you walk in. They are very patient and take your order right away after they take your drinks to your table. The sushi is amazing and the pineapple rice is out of this world. They check in on you at the perfect time as well.

My favorite Chinese Restaurant, period!!! Went there a year ago when I was back in the Chicago area for my bro8ther's memorial and brought back two coolers full of their delicious dishes. I wish they could ship a nice order to me here in Knoxville TN as we don't have anything nearly as good as Chen's!!!

This was a decent place for ayce. I haven’t been here in awhile. This location is ayce with no drink for $28 and if you want to have a drink then it’ll be $38. What’s included are nigiri, maki, traditional Chinese dishes, appetizers, and dessert. The downside is that their hours are very limited. They need to open longer to attract more customers and to maximize the value of the ayce. Since it’s in the burbs, parking was not a problem. You can either park in the garage or find street parking. Our service wasn’t as slow as other reviewers, we were able to get our food in a reasonable amount of time. Food quality was okay, it’s going to be decent since it’s ayce. You’re not going to get top tier quality if that’s what you’re looking for. Overall a 3.5 for me.

Always very consistently good food. The Ma Po tofu is my favorite, hot and a little spicy. Wait staff is always helpful and friendly.

I only wish I lived closer. This is one of my favorite spots and lots of celiac safe gluten free options. The owner Kei is always so kind and helpful with our orders and makes the experience extra enjoyable every time! My favorite dish currently is the beef mei fun!Dietary restrictions: So great being able to get celiac safe (gluten free) Chinese food! So often I can't guarantee the sauces are safe or that staff is knowledgeable about cross contamination but, that's not a concern at Bistro Chen! Always delicious and happy!
Highly recommend. Been here a half dozen times and came to realize the chef and his(?) kitchen put out outstanding food. Hot and sour soup is one of the best soups I've ever had anywhere. Sizzling Sesame Beef best version I've ever had. Egg Foo Young outstanding. Service is pleasant with a bit of quirk. Very fun. We're so fortunate to have Bistro Chen in our community. C'mon and give it a try

The waiter is really nice, and made sure to fit my mother’s food needs (allergies) and overall the food was great. Sushi has a good slice with the paring of rice. My brother’s bento box was also good. And the atmosphere was just bit to dim, made us sleepy by the end.
