I love this place for great food, drinks. It's the best Mexican food in Arlington Heights It is so nice to have the outdoor dining as well.

Just got back from Carlos and Carlos in Arlington Heights and wow, what a dinner! From the get-go, the staff were super welcoming - felt just like home.I went for the spaghetti and meatballs, the black pasta, and got the kids' chicken Alfredo for my little ones. Everything was top-notch. The meatballs were just the right mix of juicy and flavorful, and that black pasta? Absolutely unique and delicious. Even the kids’ Alfredo was a hit – creamy and perfect.The service really made our night. Everyone was on point - friendly, quick, and genuinely caring. It’s clear they really love what they do.And the owner? He’s great, right there in the mix, helping out and making sure everyone’s having a good time. That kind of vibe makes a place special.Definitely recommend Carlos and Carlos. Great food, awesome service, and just a fantastic experience all around. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The menu has changed, but the place still rocks it. The menu is part traditional Italian and part Italian inspired dishes but it all works well. Make a reservation for seating before 8pm. After that, like so many other places, it really clears out.

Just outstanding.I didn't realize that almost every restaurant closes their kitchen at 8pm in downtown Arlington Heights.Carlos & Carlos did not, and I decided to sit at the bar. I was dining solo, which I do often, and I am a proud resident of Arlington Heights. Yet somehow I had never brought myself to Carlos & Carlos. I ordered a grey goose martini, and it was made to perfection. I then ordered the beef carpaccio as an appetizer, and the Fettuccine and Short-ribs for entree. Both dishes were incredible, and the fresh cheese, and warm bread just made it all come together. The ambiance was a fine dining, yet comfortable space for those who are looking for a truly exceptional dining experience.I won't be frequenting anywhere else in Downtown Arlington Heights and I'm pleased to know that Carlos & Carlos is a restaurant establishment in the town that I live. 5 stars across the board.

They don't really know what a reservation is. We had a 7:00 pm Friday evening reservation for 5 people and arrived at 6:55. We weren't seated until 7:30 in a cramped hallway. Three other parties with "reservations" faced the same fate, with one group deciding to just sit at the bar. Not a very large dining room so I wouldn't recommend for groups larger that 4 people. Meals came out hot and fresh, generous portions,Kid-friendliness: not a kid friendly dining room

The food was good, the service was too good. Believe it or not they had too many servers that were coming up to us to take our order and someone was just at our table asking the same question 1 minute prior. It was a little annoying. But overall the food, ambiance & service was great.

Amazing food and service. Highly recommended for local Arlington Heights residents or even as a destination restaurant. It will be one of your favorites. Recommend the chicken parmigiana and tiramisu.

We had our office Christmas party here and it was a complete success! We were a large group and they went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Service was fantastic. Our drinks and water never went dry. The food was delicious and the portions are huge. Almost everyone took home food for leftovers! I will be back!
