I come here frequently. I have since it opened. I live in the neighborhood. Today was the worst I've ever had there. I ordered a simple hot cup of water for tea and I watched as multiple guests, who ordered after me get complex lattes and other drinks made first. I would leave a one star but I have had many better experiences in the past. I felt purposely ignored today. I left with out the tea, grew tired of standing there like and idiot for a hot cup of water.
Very interesting. Very friendly. Worth a visit.

This is the most cozy, progressive coffee shop you can find in the northern suburbs! The vibes here are perfect for a hot latte, a good craft, and an hour of time to yourself. I absolutely love to come here and journal. I love their matcha! The only thing that would make this place better would be some actual vegan food options. I would LOVE a vegan breakfast sandwich. I want to stay and eat a good meal of some sort, but as of writing this review, there is only an avocado toast option.
The food was coming exactly when you think about it, and it is DELICIOUS!!!

Fantastic freakin' espresso shot in a great [does that really apply? traditional is traditional .... I can't really say it's 'paradigm changing, right?' only in the face of all the weird stuff that doesn't work I guess] traditional demitasse, quickly delivered, right up the middle. No fighting with it or ' or 'um, should I be liking this cuz.... what is it?'
Help was warm, genuine, quick, responsive. In short, also awesome!
Great atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside and out and a great range of seating alternatives.
That said .... the mix of chairs and tables may need a rethink, not necessarily the actual furniture but how its distributed. The current layout is a bit weird with low soft chairs at the same tables with upright regular chairs at upright tables. I dig the 'let's lounge' seating. I dig the upright [um, am I supposed to eat my avo toast on my lap in this easy chair? 🤣] seating. I dig the bar seating. I dig the outdoor seating. I love having all 4 options available! No issues with outdoor and bar seating. The upright seating is good if you ignore the colocated low stuff so ~2.9 out of 4 seating types are on lock, but lounging needs help.
Been here multiple times, love it, highly recommend it, will return again and again!

OWNER Please, read my review!!!
Hello Coco Team,
I am not a first-time guest. I like Coco for the food and atmosphere in my neighborhood.
However, I need to raise a serious concern. While eating my breakfast sandwich, I looked toward the kitchen and noticed that your kitchen staff were not wearing gloves or hair coverings while preparing food.
One of the workers, the man with glasses, repeatedly touched his hair, rolled it around his finger, scratched his face, and adjusted his glasses. He then handled bread and prepared sandwiches for the next customer without washing his hands or wearing gloves.
I am sorry, but this was very disturbing and unhygienic to witness 🤢. Situations like this make customers lose trust in your kitchen practices.
Please ensure that your staff follow proper food safety and hygiene standards for the health and safety of your customers 🙏

I have been here several times and it is always a treat. Today I opted for classic quiche (so thick and rich with a thin, flakey, perfect crust) and mocha (made with house-made gansche). This photo was after multiple sips of the mocha, and the foam still was a beautiful flower. It was packed on a Friday morning but I found a spot right at the coffee bar. Staff was absolutely wonderful.

Waited more than 60 minutes for one grilled sandwich (takeout) despite very few customers in the café. They lost the kitchen order, and there was no apology. I love this place but was very disappointed with the customer service.
