Sorry but, I been waiting for two soups which is already ready and one sandwich for 40-45 mins. Other groups of people got their large order right away

No reliable wifi here. The atmosphere is great and food is reasonably priced.

Lovely, wonderful place. We came as a very large group, and despite being earlier than originally announced, the food was almost done and delicious.

The Mac n cheese had no cheese the noodles were over cooked, then the sándwich had so much mayo it was nasty. The employees in the back while ppl are waiting. Dirty plates on 3 tables. An I drive 40 mins to come here.. never again.

I always enjoy stopping in to the Corner Bakery Cafe located in the Northpoint Shopping Plaza in Arlington Heights. Located on the corner of Rand and Palatine Rd., this restaurant can be easy to overlook. But the food is always fresh and delicious and, of course, you can’t beat the baked goods!Comfortable booth and table seating inside, and a small private room allows for small group meetings. In the warmer weather, take advantage of ample outside seating that is far enough removed from the street that you won’t notice traffic.Online orders can easily be picked up at the grab-and-go rack close to the counter area. A comfortable seating al section keeps waiting for your order or a table unconcerning.Don’t be surprised if you see me sipping tea or eating a salad while working on real estate! Stop and say hi!

Is this place closed? I’ve tried to visit twice after work and I see employees inside but the doors are locked

(2 months ago) Every table was dirty. None of the people behind the counter knew what they were doing and moved slowly. My food was cold to the touch (cold eggs). We stayed for a half hour or so, and in that time we watched customers come in and struggle to find a place to sit because it was so filthy. We brought our own Lysol wipes because we had a toddler, so we wiped down our own table. We also heard two workers loudly complaining about another staff member, and the funny thing was that the person they were complaining about was actually doing something, while they were doing nothing.

Extended family found this location to be central, and 4 generations met for breakfast. Great place to do so, great food and service.

Disgustingly dirty. The Corner Bakery has been a staple of my wife and I for years. We live close enough to walk and it used to be a pleasant experience. However, the last time we went we were appalled at the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant.Half the tables, no exaggeration, were not bussed. There were dirty dishes and leftover food strewn all about. Even worse, the floors were filthy. It was almost impossible to avoid stepping on the garbage, used napkins and leftover food that was spread all about. The floor itself looked like it has not been washed in over a week.I could understand if the restaurant was super crowded or if they were understaffed. Neither was the case. We witnessed 5 employees just gabbing behind the counter not doing any work. The manager of this location simply was not doing their job. We will not be going back again until they can prove that major cleaning improvements are made.

Corner bakery is a great place to grab soup and a salad, or a great sandwich and a cup of soup. I also appreciate that they have a full service bakery including fresh made bagels, bread, sweet rolls, cookies, and muffins! It was very easy to place an order, and my food was ready to go for takeout very quickly.

Horrible customer service!!!! We came in to have breakfast on a slow morning, and the short haired woman was so awful, she should have stayed in bed. It sucks when you want to spend money, and they treat customers like a total nuisance. I pointed out that the bread on display was completely covered in mold, she looked like she could give a care in the world. We just walked out and will never go back there again.

Kinda pricey for the amount of food but the food was good.

Very disappointing to see a quality restaurant fall to the wayside. The chicken pomodori (premium sandwich ) has morphed to less than a bad canape. Upping it to 2 stars cause who doesn't like an oily slice of bread?
