Dondi's Pizza

I've been visiting the area every labor day for 30 years and go between dondi's & tortoricci's pizza. Dondi's crust used to be homemade but now the crust is so hard it causes the poor quality mozzarella to slide off.
I need better quality when I get a pizza here. I'm sad, it used to be amazing

Dondi's rules! Been getting my pizzas here since the 1970s. Now I make the hour long round trip from Lake Zurich which doesn't have a pizza place that is even in the same league as Dondi's!!

OMG I was brought back to years of my youth once I took a bite from the first slice. I grew up in Cicero and for years I would go to the Laundromat with my mom. Across the street was a pizza parlor called Roselli's Pizza. I would ask all the time, but my mother wouldn't budge and ever buy me a pizza from there until one day she finally caved. It became my go to pizza joint and even after changing owners I would still get pizza from there. THIS place Dondi's is thee closest I've tasted to that pizza. Very friendly, not a long wait, and for the quality of pizza the prices are decent. If you're ever in the neighborhood give them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

This is a new pizza spot &they are very delicious I can't wait till they expand the menu to burgers. But I grabbed a large Italian beef pizza with onions & mushrooms soo good.

had a pizza that was ok. cheese was ok, crust was ok, sauce was blah, and the sausage was ok. service was fine. With all the competition in the area, it's tough to just make ok pizza.

Had a unfortunate situation last night with our pizza arriving 3 hours late.. it was very odd scenario where the driver just went radio silent for no reason at all. We were very very unhappy at the situation however ownership called us to apologize & talk about it which I thought was extremely excellent customer service. They did the right thing by caring about their customers and reaching out. They have won our business back.
