Thin crust 14” special pizza

How is this place still open? I was not sold the first time I tried them after reopening and I thought I would give them another chance. First of all, $48 for a 14 inch pizza and wings. Second of all, after waiting over an hour for my food, they didn’t even have the decency to call me to inform me that my food was delivered to another address. I had to call them and ask where my food was, only for them to tell me that it would take another 45 minutes to get my food and nothing was going to be comped. And then they wonder why they are always dead…..

Pizza was terrible. I'm not 100% sure but the crust had to be a pre-made one, less sausage on it now and cheap cheese. I'll never order from there again!

We have always liked the pizza here until we ordered the Margherita pizza. Dry as heck, very little red sauce with burnt basil. The basil should be fresh not cooked until it’s brown. Queen Margherita is turning in her grave. 🇮🇹

Their pizza is great. The trouble is consistency in following the order. I have had multiple times where I have ordered a tavern cut(square cut)but they can't look at the ticket to see that the customer has specified a square cut on the ticket. The last time I was called to let us know that it happened again. I am sure they were willing to make it right. I was not willing to wait for a new pizza to be made. I wonder what the obsession with cutting it in slices is. Most pizza places (not national chains) cut in a tavern cut. This cut makes it easier to eat. The interesting part is that they did cut in into 10 slices???

I ordered a 16 in double dough pepperoni with half mushroom half sausage.

Pizza is always amazing and delicious, and the staff is friendly. It is a pick-up pizza place,but the waiting area is clean with tv on if you choose to wait inside.

Pizza was great. The new owners really have brought Dondi’s back to its original form and maybe even a little better than I remembered.

I've been visiting the area every labor day for 30 years and go between dondi's & tortoricci's pizza. Dondi's crust used to be homemade but now the crust is so hard it causes the poor quality mozzarella to slide off.
I need better quality when I get a pizza here. I'm sad, it used to be amazing

Dondi's rules! Been getting my pizzas here since the 1970s. Now I make the hour long round trip from Lake Zurich which doesn't have a pizza place that is even in the same league as Dondi's!!

Great spot for tavern style pizza. Definitely a top 5 pizza place within Arlington Heights. A+
