Hands down my favorite pub in Arlington Heights! The atmosphere is exactly what a local spot should be. A huge shout-out to Dan and Mikaela behind the bar—they are fast, friendly, and always make you feel welcome the second you walk in. Our waitress Kelsey was also fantastic; she’s incredibly attentive and kept the drinks and food coming without a hitch. If you want great service and a chill vibe, this is the place.

I’ve had many regrettable restaurant experiences in my life but this one really takes the cake.
I called a week ahead of time and asked when would be a good time to bring in a part of 9. They told me 430 might have a wait and to come at 4. The day of, I called at 315 and I said we were coming in at 4 and they confirmed that was a good time. We arrived and were seated in the back room at a table for 9 set up by the staff.
The hostess came back in the room completely discombobulated and told us that we can’t sit in tables set up like this. We explained that we didn’t set up the room like this…
Ten minutes later, the manager arrives and tell us we need to leave the room and we aren’t suppose to be sitting in here until at least 5. I explained the situation and she said that no one would have set up like this or allow us to be in this room. We told her who sat us there and she said that he doesn’t really work there…huhhhhh??????
She kicked us out of the table with are party of 9 including our 16 month old daughter and said we would need to wait until later.
Never in my life I’ve been so disrespected and disappointed while trying to eat out with my family. Needless to say I wont be visiting Eddies again.

We had a very friendly waitress. I don't remember the last time I had such a delicious medium-rare burger. Cannot wait to go back.
Eddie's always takes care of us. Fun trivia on Thursdays!

Great place to eat, drink and socialize. Went for Friday fish fry and fish was cooked perfectly. Got the tater tots on the side instead of fries. Ordered Guinness on tap and was perfectly everytime.

I have been a customer of EDDIE'S for over 25 years. When the original owners still had possession, this was a very busy evening spot for bar customers until closing, virtually 7 days a week. Very loyal customers. During my first year as a customer, I discovered one of their featured entrees that always attracted somewhat of a "full house" on Fridays. That item was their fabulous "all you can eat fish fry". Wonderful fried ocean perch, with accompaniments. Even in those days I knew of only a couple of restaurants in the Chicagoland area offering Fried perch. In most cases it was lake perch, at a high price, and hardly anywhere offered "all you can eat". !! I have spent many afternoons and evenings at Eddie's and became friends with the original owners. Well, as all things change sooner or later, so went Eddie's. The place went empty for a couple of years. Eventually a new owner emerged. Sadly, the loyal customer following disappeared during that time. Took a few years to gain their identity back. All that being said, the place has now evolved, attracting a new group of regulars. I was mostly interested in the food. I can truthfully say that the quality of their small menu is good if not exceptional in a couple of instances. The main one being their "resurrected" perch fish fry. Truthfully, I can reliably say that the taste, freshness and quality is the best I have found around Chicago. The ocean perch are mainly "small or baby" sized fillets. Delicate in flavor, and properly prepared. As far as "all you can eat" is concerned, I manage to put away 10 or 11 fillets plus some excellent French fries and tasty Cole slaw, every visit. might add trying their outstanding onion rings. They are the "real deal". Best I've had other than TRACKS in CARY. I might also add when ordering, that you ask for the fish, fries, and onion rings fried slightly light. I guarantee you'll love it. Businesses evolve and change, either for the worst or good. Any misgivings of the past should be overlooked. You won't be sorry. P.S. Be advised that this is a neighborhood bar and restaurant environment. They do, however, have a meeting or banquet room for reservations.

The server that was working the afternoon shift of 9/28/2024 was absolutely terrible. I walked in front of a large group 1st at the bar. She didn’t even notice me proceeded to help every single person at the bar after me made her way back to the front of the bar, still skipping the first three of us asking if everyone was helped, and then said who’s next and when I raised my hand and said I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes, she looked at her watch and said no you haven’t, when I in fact I’ve been waiting for 18 minutes. Overall super disrespectful and would not keep her.
