It was nice. 1st time there. I don't eat a lot of the menu items and only had toast.
Just a restaurant to me.
What a great breakfast spot! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The avocado toast was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Definitely a place I’ll be happy to return to and recommend to others.

Egg Harbor Café’s food is excellent. I come here about once a month in person, but I order through DoorDash at least twice a week.
I’m a huge fan of their breakfast most specially the harbor potatoes. The potatoes are always so crispy and remind me of home.
This location gets extremely busy however, the waitress staff are excellent and treat you like you’re their only table.

Awesome neighborhood breakfast spot. Had a fantastic server, Mauricio. He recommended the cinnamon roll and the pot roast skillet (which I think was one of their specials). The cinnamon roll was as good as it gets. The pot roast skillet was on point. Washed them down with a strawberry oj. Looking forward to further exploring the menu.

I have gone to this restaurant several times and it is usually good. However, the new menu is a disaster. It's a puzzle that you need to decipher to figure out what to order, and what the price might be! Go back to the old menu! Also, for a restaurant that has "egg" in its name, they need to hire a cook that knows how to make eggs. I order eggs over easy but what was delivered were hockey pucks. Potatoes were cold. The only favorable things I can say are the waitress was very pleasant and the coffee was good. Not sure I'll be back.
Egg Harbor Café is truly my go-to brunch spot. At this point, it feels like we’ve been there a hundred times—and every visit still leaves us with the best taste in our mouths. The consistency, quality, and warmth here keep us coming back again and again.
Our server today, Jeanette, made the experience even better. Her bright smile and friendly energy genuinely made our day.
The food—always exceptional—never disappoints. My boyfriend is obsessed with the Strawberry Crunch French Toast, while I can’t get enough of their chocolate chip pancakes and the perfectly seasoned Harbor potatoes and their english muffin with jalapeño cream cheese. Every dish tastes like it’s made with care, quality, and love.
We’ve brought countless relatives, friends, and family members here over time, and every single one of them has loved it just as much as we do.
We can’t wait to go back… just like the first time, only better every time.

Egg Harbor Café in Arlington Heights is absolutely outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The service was incredibly attentive without ever feeling rushed, and every detail was handled with genuine care. The food was nothing short of amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu has something for everyone, and each dish tastes thoughtfully prepared. You can truly tell that quality and hospitality are top priorities here. This café has become one of my favorite breakfast and brunch spots, and I can’t recommend it enough!

My mom and I were visiting from Michigan and told to come here for breakfast. Jeanette (our server) was super friendly--she went above and beyond taking care of us! The food was spectacular. We really enjoyed sharing the farmer's market benedict with a side of maple bourbon bacon. The staff was all smiles and we just wish we lived closer. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
