It's a nice spot. Good tasty pizza. But weird people on bar. Unfortunately they don't have a bouncer if customer is misbehaving

The workers are pleasant and the owner is a hard worker. Cares for his pub. Good place to catch up with friends and have a few with a good meal.

Mybftiend and I stumbled upon this place by chance. We were visoting a storenand needed tongrab some quick food before heading to the city and this place happened to be nearby. We decided to order a pizza and we were not disappointed. The pizza was so perfect with a crispy crust. My friend is super picky about her pizzas and she told me we need to go back when we can sit and enjoy ourselves longer there. So we will definitely be back!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty, yet we were told there were “no tables available inside” and were forced to sit outside. As soon as we asked again, the staff placed a reserved sign on an empty table right in front of us—clear disrespect.

The manager was rude, dismissive, and showed absolutely no concern for our complaints. The service overall was horrible, and to make matters worse, the treatment we received felt blatantly discriminatory. It was obvious we were not welcome, and the lack of basic courtesy or professionalism was shocking.

To top it all off, the food was mediocre at best—definitely not worth tolerating such terrible service for.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money—there are plenty of restaurants that treat people with dignity, respect, and can actually serve a decent meal.

We were just in and it was not the best experience. We are long time customers. I had my credit card out and we decided to pay cash and tip generously and she still charged my credit card so 2 drinks cost close to $40.00. So unfair. Lastly I ordered a double and did not receive it. Our charge to our credit card should be returned to us.

Paid $43.49 for a pick up order, got 2 burgers that tasted like $6.00 dollar burgers. To make matters worse the bartender blonde girl, tipped herself $10.39 for a pick up order....crazy.. she said the system was down when she charged me and that I probably got charged twice. It made no sense since it was a different charge than the original $43.49 I paid. She then proceeded to take the money out the register and had the audacity to only give me a $10 bill and I had to ask for the $.39 cents back.. wild! Watch yourself and check your bank statement as soon as you leave this place. Stay alert ⚠️

We’re from out of town visiting family so many pubs and taverns to chose from Gatsbys happened to be the one we chose. Clearly made the right choice! We got a quesadilla and fried pickle spears and they’re both basic pub food but I’ve never have a quesadilla or fried pickles this good!! Do yourself a favor and get extra ranch so excellent!!!

Gatsby’s is our go-to spot in Arlington Heights (we drive in from Northbrook!). It’s a family-owned sports bar with great food, daily drink specials, tons of TVs, and a super friendly staff—George, Daniel, and Kelley always make you feel at home. I take my dad here every Thursday for lunch. We love the Great Gatsby Burger, Cajun Chicken Wrap, and Tuna Melt. They just added a huge outdoor TV—great for catching Cubs/Sox games—and it’s dog-friendly too. Highly recommend for lunch, games, or a relaxed night out!

Marc is fantastic! So lucky to live close to this gem! Great food great atmosphere and great company! It’s so nice to feel like you have a second home in a neighborhood spot! Everyone is welcome and that’s my favorite part! John and Gerorge the owners, always go out of their way to make everyone feel at home with a nice hello and table checks. There’s a reason this bar has been around for over 50 years. Cheers to 25 more!
