The cook must have got the vaccine already because he's not wearing a mask, never coming back here

Really great food! I live 15 minutes away and my brisket sandwich, fries, and cornbread were all fantastic by the time I got home. Highly recommend for drive thru during the pandemic. Staff was friendly, wearing masks and gloves, and food was warm and delicious. Will definitely come back.

I love this food! It comes in a variety of portions with sides. It is delicious barbque like you can't find in Chicago!! The staff is helpful and warm. They have a drive through for this odd time!

Mixed review here. Some items are good, some not so much. Shredded bbq chicken and pork is very good. Ribs are tough, dont care for the brisket and hush puppies are awful. A lot of side choices, but the cole slaw has no flavor.

Ordered the rib tip basket and it came with a side, bread(dinner roll), and slaw. The taste was ok. Tips were nice and tender but nothing special about the taste. I did not much care for the slaw and the baked beans were tasty to me. Came with a side of bbq sauce as well. All in all good food at a good price. But my pallet needs more flavor lol. I would recommend giving it a try it was fast and friendly service as well

Excellent sliced brisket! Great homemade BBQ sauce. They have it dialed in. Keep up the excellent food and service!

The entire menu is terrific BUT the kitchen is a state of mass confusion and the carry-out service is a mess. We have had 3 carry-out orders over the past 6 weeks and have yet to been given our exact order - most times ending up with half of our order and another half from someone else’s order.

Food was great. Only complaint would be the slow drive through. The wait is worth it.

Sandwiches and fries were good, but the Hush puppies were so burnt that we couldn't eat them. Very disappointing since that is the reason we chose to eat JD's for dinner tonight. Also did not receive the ice cream that was supposed to come with the kids meal.

In the past I have gotten their broasted chicken, which has been okay. I decided to take advantage of their Thursday special of ribs and 2 sides. I have to say that I was really disappointed. The ribs were very dry and strangely salty. I chose for my sides a baked potato stipulated on the menu as “loaded”. It was a large potato wrapped in foil, that’s it. My other side choice was steamed vegetables. The vegetables were the best thing in my order.

Great place to eat! Food and service is fantastic. I love how you can get delicious bbq with a great choice of beer all in one stop!! :)

I was hesitant to try something new but i figured with almost 500 reviews and 4.5 stars I should give it a shot. I wasn’t disappointed. Everything was fresh and delicious!

I work on the Com Ed system so I have the privilege to try many fine eateries all around the great state of Illinois. Here is my breakdown: Sliced brisket was tough, ended up throwing most out. The mac n cheese was process cheese and noodles, nothing special. They do have very tasty fries. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Overall D+

So I'm vegetarian and it's hard to find a BBQ place where I can eat. I love this place. A lot of non-meat items, including a portobello po' boy. Beer, BBQ sauce, a good dining space always makes me happy. And my husband is happy he gets meat.
