The NW suburbs finally has a top-notch sushi spot! Everything from top to bottom was beyond excellent. The atmosphere, the service, the sushi, and the drinks! We will absolutely be back!

I came here with my wife. We were blown away by the dishes and sushi by Kaido. This place is comparable to many of the top sushi restaurants in the city. Glad to have this gem in the suburbs.

Holy cow this place was goooooooood. Is it traditional omakase? No idea. Never been to Japan. Either way its the best sushi place ive been too in chicago/Chicagoland. Its quality over quantity I will say. Whoever the chefs/owners are, they care about the quality by far! The cuts of fish/seafood were just *chefs kiss* i recommend this place as a great occasion restaurant or if you are craving amazing flavors and sushi. Service was great too. Very attentive and nice!

This review is a first impression after being rebuffed while trying to dine there tonight. My gf and I did not dine for clarity’s sake.If you’re busy you don’t tell someone, “Reservation??… I don’t have ANYTHING for you!” Instead, kindly let the prospective patron know that while you would love for them to experience their food you currently have no availability and graciously offer to wait or welcome them back a different night.

Hospitality: Very attentive and friendly staff. Since the restaurant is small, its very easy to get someone’s attention. The atmosphere was comfortable and elegant. Quality: I ordered the queen omakase, so the quality can’t entirely be covered for everything on the menu but the miso soup was light and fragrant and the nigiri was fresh and well-served. The chef’s courses were slightly disappointing since each course felt heavy in sauce rather than refreshing and being able to taste the seasonality of the ingredient. Value: I can see why its well-rated for the price for special occasions like anniversaries or celebrations. I wouldn’t considering doing another omakase but I would be interested in eating their rolls.

Such a great atmosphere inside paired with incredible food. Every plate we chose was incredible. We had the sushi chef pick our nigiri for us and we had no regrets with that choice.
